Quote of the Day: How Progressive You Will Be...

'How progressive you will be in your spiritual quest will directly depend on how determined you are.' - His Holiness Younus AlGohar

The Super Blood Moon

On September 27th and September 28th, get ready for a double celestial event: the Supermoon (Perigee Moon) and lunar eclipse.

Not only will the Moon appear larger and brighter than usual, but it will turn a blood red colour as the sun eclipses it.

This rare phenomenon is believed to be one of the signs of the end times, as per the Bible Prophecy:

‘The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord comes.’

It will form the fourth event in the ‘Tretrad’ which marks the beginning of a new series of events leading to the end of the world in Christian philosophy.

Whilst observing the Supermoon eclipse, take the opportunity to investigate the images of the Awaited Ones Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi and Lord Jesus Christ on the Moon (and obtain the benefits)! In the turbulent times to come, call upon these divine images on the Moon for help and experience the bounty of the Awaited Ones.

Quote of the Day: You Don't Have to Learn to Hate...

'You don’t have to learn to hate, but in order to love, you need some learning.' - His Holiness Younus AlGohar (The Power of Love and the Holy Black Stone)

The Power of Love and the Holy Black Stone

His Holiness Younus AlGohar was recently invited by the Brahma Kumari Centre in Sri Lanka to speak about the power of love and the significance of the Maha Shiv Ling. The following is the transcript of His Holiness's talk.

The Holy Black Stone

It is such a pleasurable moment to be with people who show tolerance, love and understanding of the truth. I’m grateful to be invited here in this spiritual gathering.
I was born in a Muslim family. As a Muslim, I did have an enormous amount of love and affection for the Holy Black Stone (which is believed to be the Maha Shiv Ling according to Sanatan Dharma). However, my life took a U-turn when I met my spiritual father and He initiated my heart into spirituality. He showed to me the true meaning of life. He liberated my soul and my brain from the limitations of religions.
Then I became a love and peace activist. I was given to study the importance of the Holy Black Stone which, as I earlier mentioned, is believed to be Maha Shiv Ling. It has the core values in Sanatan Dharma.
I was really amazed how important that sacred Holy Stone is and the treasure that it has inside it. Then I was really dismayed, disappointed by the fact that it has been confined to one particular race and no other religions were allowed to show their affection or practise their reverence to that Sacred Black Stone.
I realised that all the divine energies and divine light emanate from Maha Shiv Ling.
Truly, Maha Shiv Ling is not just the mark of divinity, but also the house of divinity.
This is what draws me towards Brahma Kumaris: their affection, their love and their understanding of the Holy Black Stone. I hope the time will soon come when Maha Shiv Ling will be available for all human beings of the world to physically approach and be able to show their affection, love and reverence to the Sacred Stone.

Being a humble servant of His Divine Grace Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi and a worker of Kalki Avatar Foundation, my heart is utterly pleased to share our knowledge, our trust and our energies with our brothers and sisters who are involved, through thick and thin, in the divine duties under the platform of Brahma Kumaris.

We as Kalki Avatar Foundation are striving pretty hard all over the world to raise awareness of the importance of the Holy Black Stone and what could be achieved. But before we are able to achieve anything from the Holy, Sacred Stone, there is a need for raising awareness of the essentiality and importance of the Holy Black Stone. At some point in time, with your help, we will be able to raise this issue universally to let others know what we have obtained. We will let them know how important it is for other members of the global society and for us to share our energies, to show tolerance, to extend love and to establish peace throughout the world.
The Power of Love
Religions have become corrupted somehow or other. It is very unfortunate.
You are making all the possible efforts you can - you have centres in so many countries all around the world. With the divine help of the Master, this beacon of light is already pushing away the darkness. But my friends, there is enough darkness and we have to make more efforts.

Especially in people who take pride in their religiosity but at the same time their hearts are darkened by illiteracy; they are naïve to the sole purpose of the religion. They are people who are spending a good amount of time in their worship places; however, they are naïve to divinity. They are those who are spending an enormous amount of time in their religious customs and worship; however they fail to appreciate the value of human life. They are those who fail to appreciate the power of mutual love. They are those who fail to appreciate the fact that we are all children of one father. We are all creation of one God; you may call him God, Allah, Bhagwan, but it is the same source. This diversification has to vanish. That will happen when we begin to realise that in nature, in originality, all of us come from the same source. [We need] to promote universal brotherhood and global peace.

It is very good sermon. Sweet, beautiful words: global peace, love, mutual understanding. But the problem is how to obtain it. You hold a conference and you invite different individuals from different religions. On this stage, they will talk really sweetly. But when they go back to their temples, mosques and synagogues, they will be different. This is because they do not know how to love.
People think to love is very easy. But there is one divine formula you need to understand by His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi: you don’t have to learn to hate but in order to love, you need some learning. You need some practical knowledge.
This was the inspiration that compelled me to quit what I was doing as a religious person and I adopted spirituality. I was given to understand by my Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi that to be able to love, we need spiritual knowledge and spiritual application.

We have many organs in our body. For example: the eyes. We know what the function of the eye is: to see. We never try to eat with our eyes because we know its function. You will never, even by mistake, put food in your eyes.

In a similar way, to love there is a specific organ in our body. That is the heart.

You must be thinking, ‘That is very famous. Everybody talks about it. You’re not sharing any secret with us. Even in the movies, people say that the place of the love is in the heart.’
That’s true. But here you go, I have something very subtle and unique - however very easy to understand.
This heart is symbolic to love. However, this is just used as a metaphor.
If I ask you, ‘can you love somebody with your heart?’

You will simply say, ‘Yes, I love them by heart.’

But you don’t know how to love by heart. And I didn’t know anything about it until I met my lord and he not only told me about it but he gave a practical application and spiritual functionality. He told me about the importance of the heart.
His Divine Eminence told me, ‘This fleshy heart which pumps the blood in the body - there is a specific soul onto the heart. This soul has to be awakened and only a true divinely ordained Guru will activate that soul.’
When that soul is activated it needs nourishment. The nourishment of the soul is not food that we eat for our stomach. No bread, no meat, no vegetables.
The nourishment of the soul is divine light, divine energy. Although people go to worship places and worship there extensively, people do not know that the purpose of worship is to create divine energy.
They do create divine energy unknowingly, but because they are doing it unknowingly, they do not know where to store it. Whatever amount of divine energy is created or generated in the worship place is lost. It doesn’t matter who you are and what worship place you go to: a temple, a church, a mosque or a synagogue; no matter what type of worship you are carrying out, you are making divine energy. But without spirituality, you do not know how to store it and make proper use of that divine energy.

So what happens is: the true spiritual guide implants Shabd (God’s name) into the beating system of the heart. What happens then? Every time the heart beats, God’s name is proclaimed. And you’re sitting doing nothing - or maybe talking to your husbands, wives and children. But at the same time, your heart is constantly repeating God’s name. That’s when divine energy starts to be generated and it nurtures the spiritual soul that sits on the heart. In three years’ time with a constant supply of divine energy (which is generated as a result of synchronisation with the heartbeats) your soul grows up.

It becomes strong enough to govern your heart. Then your heart learns spiritual love. Once your heart has learned spiritual love, then you will not only love God but you will love all human beings no matter who they are - whether they are Sri Lankans, Indians, Americans, Malaysians or Singaporeans. Because you understand - and in the way of experience and divine observation, you touch upon the realisation of the truth.
You become acquainted with divinity. When you spot divinity in every single human soul, you begin to feel attracted to them. This becomes the bond of love.
Those who today are using religion as a tool of hatred do not understand this knowledge. Because no matter what religion they practise, a religion for them is like a beautiful outfit; but behind that beautiful outfit is a beast.

Q & A Session with His Holiness Younus AlGohar
Question: Only Muslims can visit the Holy Black Stone?
Yes, only Muslims unfortunately.

But the problem is, not much knowledge was given to them about the importance of the Holy Black Stone.
However, it was said that whoever kisses the Holy Black Stone out of love and reverence, then that person’s sins would be washed away, he would become pure and he would find salvation. Merely kissing the Holy Black Stone and you will find salvation - that’s beautiful, isn’t it? So simple, easy - and good for us. We don’t have to go to temples and mosques 5 or 10 times a day. Just simply go there, kiss it and go home!

But that’s the truth.
Question: Can you talk about the beauty of the mind?
The mind is controlled by intellect. And intellect is the calculation of what we see and experience.
What we do not experience and do not see, the mind is quiet on those subjects.
The mind is controlled by our experience, observation and negative sources, evil sources. But when the heart becomes pure and the soul becomes pure, then the mind is controlled by the heart. In some people, the mind is very strong; they don’t listen to their heart. So the mind ruins their life!

But those whose heart is strong, rightly guided and enlightened, they listen to their heart because their heart has God’s presence. So they never go wrong.
Question: Can I know who is Kalki?
The image of Kalki is in Maha Shiv Ling. Have a look at it and then look for Him. It is not easy because He is Lord. You have to go after Him.

Even when we are looking for a nice, beautiful wife, we have to work hard. So you are talking about God! You have to spend some time looking for Him.
Question: Is He the Avatar?
The Avatar is the Appointed One from God. Kalki refers to the Dark Age. We are going through dark ages now; it is the time for the Kalki to come.

Human blood is being shed: carnage, murder, terrorism, hatred. What else do we want to have more in this world before Kalki arrives? That’s enough.
Question: Rather than taking emotional decisions, we are bound to take rational decisions sometimes - especially in business. What are your thoughts on this?
Rationality is very important, as important as sanity is. Emotional decisions should be avoided because we do not know whether the emotions are true or false.
Emotions are fuelled by our desires; sometimes the desires are wrong and sometimes the desires confine us to ourselves. We become selfish and self-centred.
If the emotions are fuelled by our carnal, lustful or financial desires, you cannot follow emotions. Emotions are very fake sometimes. So it is better to adopt rationality.

Speaking about business, I don’t see emotions playing any part in business. So it’s better to take a rational decision.

Quote of the Day: What Do You Know...

'What do you know if you don't know you?' - His Holiness Younus AlGohar

The Sunday Island’s Interview with HH Younus AlGohar

The following is the transcript of Steve A. Morell’s interview with His Holiness Younus AlGohar, the CEO of Messiah Foundation International. For the piece published in the Sunday Island Newspaper, visit this link.

Mir L Ali, Chairman of MFI says a few words about love.
Mir L Ali: Love, harmony, unification. These are the terms currently used; it is something we have to work on and that’s what our mission is all about. We say, ‘Love for all, hatred for none.’ His Holiness travels all over the world and talks about love. Love is sorely lacking in this day and age. Let’s hear His Holiness.

HH Younus AlGohar: Love stood out in our previous conversation and love will still stand out. Nothing supersedes love; that’s not the issue. The issue is: how to be able to love. We should ask ourselves, ‘What is stopping us from loving each other?’
Everybody knows about love; everybody wants to love, but what we see today in the world is hatred.
You cannot kill anybody for love. Obviously, when people are being murdered and slaughtered under the banner of religions, it is not love.
You cannot kill anybody in love, whether it is human love or it is divine love.
Steve Morell: The message of love that you have given is a broad message of love. Now let’s take it, say, from the time we spoke last. Have you noticed from the people that you speak to that they are getting attracted to what you say?

Well, they are all over the world, in many countries of the world. There are thousands of people who have actually been waiting to hear such a voice, such a message.  All those who want to learn to love they are adhering to our message and to our practice of spirituality. The scope is really high and people are becoming part of this struggle for peace and love.

Let’s assume that they have already been listening to and they have converted to what you say. Has there been a reversal in their ideas at some time? Or will they find that something else is lacking in their lives and just the mere concept of love is not enough?

The concept of love – if it is limited to phraseology and it is not practised under the principles of spirituality – then it is just fake; it is not love. Love is deeply rooted in the heart.
When we give people message of love, we are not just talking about love. We are actually offering people to learn the practical approach and methodology of love which will come from spirituality.
Once a person is spiritualised and the negativity from that person is diminished with the help of spirituality, then that person will always love no matter what happens. He will not go back to the same condition that he previously was in. So it’s not just the message, it’s not just about listening; it’s about adopting spirituality to become spiritualised.

Let’s talk about human frailty. Human frailty can also mean that they are looking for something more in terms of loving a person, loving a thing, etc. Have you experienced that in your teachings in your travels around the world? Maybe in Sri Lanka?

Spirituality is not just about love; it is a whole package. So many people in the world are suffering from different known or unknown ailments; obviously, the ailments are the result of the evil forces that we are not able to see.
But once you are spiritualised, you actually succeed to build up in you a spiritual strength which will protect you against those negative forces.
You become a better human being, you become stronger, you are not vulnerable to any evil thoughts and you are not vulnerable – either spiritually or physically – to anything alien to your soul and your body.

We have four great religions in this country: Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam – and [others]. All these religions teach love. Is there something more that you can tell them?

Well, you can understand: all these four religions that you just mentioned teach love. Look at the result: are they really teaching love? Do we see love either in Sri Lanka, Pakistan or anywhere else in the world? There are mosques, there are temples; there are monks, mullahs and pandits – and they are all claiming to teach love but we don’t see love in practice. Something is missing in their message.

This is the point –

This is the point.

What really is missing?
What is missing is the spiritual system which will allow you to purify your heart.
The organ of love is your heart; if that is not activated, you will never learn to love. You will talk about love, but you will never appreciate love. You will want to be loved, but you won’t know how to love.
Somehow or other, something will come in between: your desires, greed, your ego or some other negative deterrent. You will never be able to love. In order to be able to love we need to purify the heart.
Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism – all these religions are pure religions but now spiritual system in them is lost. Buddhism stands for enlightenment. It’s not enlightenment of the body; it’s enlightenment of the soul. And when we say, ‘Enlightenment of the soul,’ it doesn’t mean we are going to put a bulb inside the soul and it will light up.
Enlightenment is all about [subtracting] the negative traits and bringing divine inside our character.
We are reading Quran, Bible, Bhagvad Gita and Vedas – but we are just reading it; nothing is going inside.
Our body is involved but our soul and our heart are not involved in the religions. This is why we are not learning to love.
Although the mosques and temples are filled with people who worship there, their hearts are empty. The negative/evil forces are having an enormous amount of effect on their mind and their souls.

Human frailty in any case someday supersedes whatever we want to think. So based on human frailty, how can we sustainably continue to have the concept of love – and loving somebody else and getting that person to love you?

From your birth until this age, a human being always needs a shelter, a helping hand or somebody to look up to when in need – and ask for help.

A human being is never self-sustained. He always in need somehow or other to seek help. When you are a child, you seek help from your mother. When you go to school, you seek help from your teacher. Even when you become mentor in life, you need help.
There are times in life when a human being would feel he is empty, incomplete and he needs some help from divine powers.
That is the case. You are always in need of some help. In most cases, nobody can help you; nobody is able to help you because you are in such a situation. Only the divine will help and we are teaching people how to be in contact with the divine.
For example, we have terrorists roaming about the world and committing all sorts of crimes. People do not know how to react; people do not know how to protect themselves.
The [army of] the United States of America has been in Afghanistan for more than a decade and still that can’t do anything about it with all the weapons, with all the might and power – because they needed God’s help. God’s help will come when you are in contact with God, when God is notified that somebody down there needs his help.

We should be able to make contact with God. Although in every religion we say, ‘We should say prayers and God will listen to our prayers,’ God has created a system and we have to adopt that system – only then God will hear your voice – and that system is spirituality.

You have been here for a reasonable amount of time and you have spoken to people here in Sri Lanka. What has their reaction been to the message you are giving?

The reaction is wonderful, tremendous. We are teaching people to love each other and uphold their integrity of being a Sri Lankan first, then become a Singhali, then become a Tamil and then become a Muslim. This is very important for them and they should be able to learn to respect each other’s religious or ethnic background. That will come only when your heart is purified enough.

So, you’ve had some responses?

Of course, the response is quite satisfactory and the future is bright. I mean, people who are part of our organisation in Sri Lanka – there are all sorts of people: Tamils, Singhalis, Christians, Buddhists – they all respect each other and they message is getting across different ethnic groups now.

Do you meet at a given time, given venue and how often do you meet?

Well, the physical meeting will only take place when I am in Sri Lanka. Otherwise I give a lecture every day in an online conference from London. People who want to listen to me join this conference online. When I come here programmes are organised, I participate and a lot of people come, sometimes in the thousands. I am invited by different organisations in Sri Lanka: by Christian organisations and by Hindu organisations. The response has been really good so far.

In your trip this time will you meet many people?

Yes, I will be meeting a lot of people this time. I am going to different cities for lectures.

And you will be giving the message of love?

Of course.

And you will be conveying to them exactly what we have discussed?

In more details, yes.

Love heals.

Yes, genuine love, not fake love: genuine love that your soul aches for.

You don’t need lectures from people to love others. You should have this genuine love, feeling and pain for others, regardless of their religious backgrounds. That will happen when the soul is awakened.
Genuine love that will come from your heart will let you forget ethnic backgrounds and religious backgrounds.
When you have genuine love in your heart, you will only see, ‘He is a human being, she is a human being. They need love, they need respect.’

When you don’t have genuine love, even when you feel love, there are a lot of things here and there which will make you stop. For example, ‘He is Tamil! He is Singhali! He is Christian! He is Buddhist! He is Muslim!’ There are so many things that roam about ourselves.

Can you be as eclectic as you are now in holding an audience, say for 30 minutes, maybe an hour, and having them completely enthralled in what you are saying? And once they leave they will take the message that you have just given them?

Whenever I spoke to people I was welcomed. People were really thrilled, happy and they rejoiced. This is why they come back again; this is why they are changing. I am not a magician.

What I mean is, you can be a catalyst for change.

I hope to do so. I have to bring about peace and change. You can’t change the face of the world in one day.

No, you can’t.

It takes time, it’s a long struggle. But I must tell you: global, spiritual revolution is on the way. And this world will become a place of love and peace.

That is coming?

That is coming for sure: a revolution where love will prevail.

Is there anything else you’d like to say?

That is enough if people understand it.

Thank you.

I am always pleased to see you.

Interview with HH Younus AlGohar: ISIS and Their Ugly Plans

The following is the transcript of an interview with His Holiness Younus AlGohar carried out by a journalist from the Daily Mirror in Sri Lanka. His Holiness Younus AlGohar is the official representative of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi.

There is a religious war going on in the world. People are always talking about the danger of the Islamic world and how they are causing destruction - how they are destroying many historical monuments unnecessarily. Is this a way to build the religion?
That is a very good question actually. At the same time, it needs people to understand it well. The problem is how brave we are to listen to the truth. The media all over the world should be singing the truth and telling the public what is right and wrong. The media is like a mirror. Politicians have problems; even if they know the truth, first they have to see what fits in their agenda. But the media doesn’t have any agenda for except looking for stories that can sell like hot cakes. However the media can really help, because it is the media which will carve the minds of the public.

His Holiness Younus AlGohar // by Nadeem Saddiqui.

The question that you asked is my favourite subject these days. What is religion to do with the lives of people and how important - especially in the recent times - is the religion in one’s life? Is it going to bring any good change in his or her life? Is it going to jeopardise the peace of people either in one country or on an international level?
There are many religions and it is very unfortunate that in almost every religion there is a group of people who have adopted extremism. They become very narrow-minded and they have taken it to harm others. But no extremist group in any religion has taken extremism as far as ISIS has.
ISIS has become a global threat. Especially in America, Canada and countries in Europe, they become worried about how to resolve this issue. How to stop ISIS from committing humanitarian crimes every day. Brutality has gone to its peak. Another global problem is that every now and then from countries like Australia, America, Canada, England and countries in Europe, they seek concealed, discreet supporters of ISIS.

Do you mean the Wahhabi sect?

Yes. In order to understand ISIS and their ugly plans, one has to go through the history of the Wahhabi sect. The principle supporter of Wahhabism is Saudi Arabia. Any politician in any country would think at least ten times before they can obviously take a decision against Saudi Arabia. But you cannot deny the fact that Saudi Arabia and Wahhabism are two different pictures of the same face. A lot has been discussed in the international media.
We need to understand what Wahhabism is and what Saudi Arabia’s role is in Wahhabism. I want to give you a brief history. Wahhabism starts from Mohammad bin Abdul Wahhab Najadi. Najd is the central province in Saudi Arabia. He was born there and he became a self-proclaimed Islamic scholar. He said, ‘They must follow Islam the way it was practised at the time of Prophet Mohammad.’
But that’s just one thing. And then there are all the other things were added from himself. [He said], ‘What Prophet Mohammad and his followers practised at that time was pure Islam. So we have to go back to that old practice. And whoever among Muslims do not accept it should not be regarded as Muslims. They must be killed, their properties taken as forfeit. Their daughters must be snatched away from them; you can sleep with them and can kill them.’
Any religion, when it was established, its directives that came from God through the prophet or messenger from that religion were in accordance with the people and their civilisation at that time. But when the religion grows with the elapse of time, so many things change according to the need and necessity of people at the time. So many modifications come into place. If you do not accept those modifications and replacements in the directives, then this is what happens.

Do most Muslims in the world follow Wahhabism?

No, that’s not true.

No true Muslim can be a terrorist.

Wahhabism is not the mainstream Islam. Islam has been the religion of peace and representation of true Islam comes from Muslim Sufis who taught love and peace, who did not hate anybody. People of all religions met with Sufis and obtained their spiritual grace. Some of these non-Muslims were so inspired by the Sufis that they accepted Islam and became Sufis.

This Wahhabism started to rise after the birth of Saudi Arabia. This part where Saudi Arabia is now in the Arabian Peninsula was under the government of the Ottoman Empire.

So those extreme in their love of their religion become Wahhabis?

Wahhabism is a different ideology. It is an ideology which was presented by an individual who did not have spiritual insight into the religion. Wahhabism does not come from any prophet; Wahhabism does not come from the Quran.
Wahhabism is a set of beliefs which was concocted and fabricated by one individual and supported by like-minded people.
This part where Saudi Arabia is now was part of the Ottoman Empire. In the late 19th century, a man from Britain came to the Arabian Peninsula. We know him by Lawrence of Arabia. He then got Britain on his side and Britain decided to help the Al-Saud family. The Al-Saud family were Wahhabis. With the help of the British, they defeated the Ottoman Empire. This is how in the early 20th century, Saudi Arabia was formed by this family. Then a treaty was signed. Abdul Wahhab Najadi’s followers and the Al-Saud family joined hands together. This treaty was signed under the blessings of the British.

They were bound to help each other and not interfere with each other. The Wahhabi sect will not interfere with the affairs of the Royal Family and the Royal Family will not interfere with the religious affairs of the Wahhabi sect. So the survival of both was totally dependent on each other.

The kingdom would survive due to the help of the Wahhabi sect and the Wahhabi sect would survive because of the help of the Royal Family.

Now they had oil, money and everything. So with the help of that money they started to publicise the Wahhabi sect from their own. It has been only 120 years since the rise of Wahhabism. Before that, there was no Wahhabism.
They want to rule the world.
To their understanding, if you do not accept their ideology - whether you are a Muslim or non-Muslim - you are a Kafir (infidel). They must kill you.

If you are not Wahhabi, you do not have the right to live. This is their mind.

They are the same as the Taliban then.

Taliban, ISIS, Al-Qaeda - They’re chips off the same block. They’re all Wahhabis.

Are Wahhabis a threat to Sri Lankans?
In my previous interviews, I pointed out the presence of the Wahhabi sect in Sri Lanka. What happens is: religious criminals (Wahhabis, terrorists) from Pakistan and India come to Sri Lanka. They stay here in exile.

The Muslim community in Sri Lanka is really powerful. Most of them are businessmen; they have a lot of money. The Sri Lankan government should be keenly observing them and not allow them to establish any religious denomination in Sri Lanka. It is not very difficult: just observe Wahhabis and you are safe.

Kattankudy is where you might see the base of ISIS.

[I hear] there is Saudi funding in the area?

That’s true.

What are their plans for Sri Lanka?

They want to rule the world but Sri Lanka is not on their immediate agenda. It’s like saying, ‘I will drink this bottle of water first and then the other bottle.’ I will definitely drink the bottle of water that is near me.

On their immediate agenda is Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India. Obviously when they are so powerful, they would want to go anywhere.

However we represent Kalki Avatar Ra Gohar Shahi.

Yes, my next question is: what about Kalki Avatar?

This is why we are here. We are preparing people to learn to love and have spiritual powers. To understand the purpose of religion and forget their differences, such as, ‘He is Hindu, he is Sikh, etc.’

The impact of all these religions has diminished now. What we want is mutual love and love for humanity. Whoever is peace-loving, we should support them. Obviously the might, strength and power of Kalki Avatar will help peace-loving people all over the world including Sri Lanka.

The [Wahhabi] ideology is really deceptive. They are not Muslims. They are just killers, terrorists. Sri Lanka is a multi-religious society where Christians, Muslims, Hindus are all living under peace - until recently when some extremist Buddhists started to make everybody feel their presence.

However, Buddhists have always been very peaceful. I was really surprised as to how a Buddhist person can become an extremist. But it happens when the religion loses its spiritual system. You become empty inside. When you become empty inside, the negative forces occupy your heart and emotions. Then it doesn’t matter whether you are Buddhist, Hindu, Christian or a Muslim - you become an extremist.

Our message is love for everybody. We want everybody to learn spirituality whoever they are. Whether you are a Christian, Hindu, Buddhist or Muslim, if you have learnt spirituality and your heart is illumined and enlightened, you can never become an extremist. Whoever you are, if your heart is pure, if your heart is clean, then you will love each other.

We want good Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims. You can be a Hindu, you can be a Christian - however you must be a good Christian. Not just Christian. Our goal is to make Christians good Christians, to make Hindus good Hindus with enlightenment in their heart. They should be practising spirituality. Our aim is teach them how to become spiritual and how to get rid of those negative forces inside which can turn a normal human being into a terrorist.
ISIS is a threat but who knows how many Wahhabis in any country are discreet followers of ISIS. If you practise the same ideology, you can pick up the weapon any time.
They are not recruiting people; they are relying on their ideological upbringing. For example, if you live in Sri Lanka, were born here and are playing cricket, the Sri Lankan Cricket Board can call you any time. Because they know you are playing cricket.

In a similar way, if you practise the same ideology wherever you are - if your mind is already made up that Wahhabis are the best Muslims and any other Muslim is not acceptable, and [that they should be killed], one call will come from Syria and you will join them because you are already practising their ideology.

It is not one day preaching. It is not one week preaching. There is a special religious group which was formed in India: Tableeghi Jamat. They are those who carry their bedsheets on their shoulders and their water pot with them. They go to different countries and they preach Islam to Muslims.

When I was a child I used to ask my father, ‘I’m already a Muslim. Why have they come to teach me Islam?’ My father didn’t have an answer.

Then when I met my spiritual father Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi, He told me, ‘They do not think you are Muslim. They think only Wahhabis are Muslims. Because they only practise pure Islam; your Islam is not pure in their eyes. They have come to tell you of their version of Islam.’
So when they come to India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and other countries in the world, people think they are just preachers, preaching Islam. They are not preaching Islam; they are laying foundation of terrorism. They are turning your mosques into terrorist factories. It is very dangerous. You can see aggression.

Sufi Muslims are very calm, mellow and meeky. These Wahhabis are very aggressive.
If you are a Hindu you cannot share your food with them. To them, you are ‘unclean’. This is hatred. If you love your religion, how come you hate people? Whether you are a Christian, Hindu or a Sikh you are creation of the same God. Why do you love one creation of God and hate another? God doesn’t discriminate. How can he discriminate when a mother doesn’t? If a mother has three or four sons and one of them is good and the other is bad - well, she knows one is bad and one is good but she loves both equally. She doesn’t discriminate. Whereas God says he loves his creation more than 70 mothers. So when God does not discriminate, how can you? You claim to love god and be so religious and you are killing humanity!

Whereas Prophet Mohammad said, ‘Killing one person is equal to killing the entire humanity.’

The Prophet was in a battle and one companion of the Prophet was next to him fighting so bravely, killing the enemies. When he was fighting with others he got injured to a degree where he was in extreme pain. At one point, he realised that he could not take this pain anymore and he killed himself. He was fighting with the enemies bravely but do you know what the Prophet said? ‘This man who has just killed himself was not from among us; he will go into hellfire.’

His intention was not to harm and hurt others; he killed himself to escape from the pain yet the Prophet did not appreciate it. How can these people, on purpose, wear bomb jackets and then jump into crowds? They die and let others die with them - and they call it help for Islam? This is nonsense. The religion doesn’t support it. This is a piece of atrocity, brutality, murder, carnage, massacre; the prime example of hatred. This is not Islam.

Without religion coming into this world can we live in this world?
We understand religion has created a lot of problems everywhere. Can we live in this world without religion? Yes we can. Can we live in this world without God? Yes we can.

The problem is: spirituality will make you a better human being. There are times you need God’s help. You can live without God, but you will not live without God in peace. You better live without religions - that’s very okay. But you need spirituality to be in perfect harmony. You need God’s help.

It was understood previously that God doesn’t exist without a religion. If you believe in God you must be a Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, etc. but now the time has changed. God’s love, God’s help is available without a religion; through spirituality. Through spirituality, you protect yourself, become strong and become a better human being. If there are not moral values, we cannot have a good society. People will be cutting each other’s throats. If they are not cutting each other’s throats for a religion, they will be cutting each other’s throats for money, land, lust, women. So we can’t completely ignore spirituality and God. We need spirituality,

Spirituality will take out the negative traits from everybody and carve human beings a better character. We don’t need religions anymore because religions are corrupt now. But we need spirituality. Loving God will solve the problem, not create a problem. God is not part of the problem; religions are part of the problem. People should love God.

Thank you so much. Do you have anything else to add?

Sri Lanka is such a beautiful country and the people are really nice. I just wish all people in Sri Lanka -whether they are Singhali or Tamil - live in peace and love each other. Politicians should also make sure that they provide for the Sri Lankan people a society where everybody is living in peace, happiness and nobody is suppressed. Whether you are Singhali or Tamil, whoever you are, we should respect that fact that everybody who was born here is Sri Lankan. This should be the prime thing for everybody: he is not Singhali, he is not Tamil; he is Sri Lankan. The national integrity should be observed. That is my message.

The Reality of ISIS and Their Ideology

The following is an excerpt from His Holiness Younus AlGohar's speech. His Holiness is the Official Representative of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi.

The existence of humanity is at a greater risk than ever before.

Tyrants have been born in this world in different ages. They have killed many million people. We have examples such as Hitler and the notorious holocaust, the crusaders as well as Haluku Khan. There have been many individuals who have taken their hatred to an extreme level. They have become a dirty mark in history.

However what we have been seeing for the 15-20 years in the shape of Islamic militancy has taken brutality, atrocity and tyranny to an unprecedented level. History cannot present an equal example of brutality, human disgrace and gross disrespect to humanity.

Today we hear of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda as fanatic militant groups. We have seen the rise of ISIS from Syria and Iraq. Now, ISIS has done something more extraordinary to disrupt the global peace. All the peace-loving countries in the world are now perplexed, worried and seem to be clueless as to how to combat this new rise of global militancy. Although every country in the West is trying to look for a solution, nothing much seems to have been done.

The failure to find a solution to this rise in Islamic militancy could be due to various reasons. When I wander in the field of possible scenarios, I come up with the core issue. [I have figured out] the reason why these individuals who come from Islam have taken to commit such anti-social, anti-human, anti-religious, anti-divine atrocities.

My friends, first of all, I would like to let you know that these militant organisations in the world who label themselves as Muslims are not Muslims at all.

Firstly, it is to do with their mental ability to grasp the meaning of the divine word. Their interpretation is based on their theosophical calibre. The calibre according to which how accurately they interpret the divine word. It is how precisely they explain what God means when he sends some divine directives to different nations through revelations upon prophets and messengers.

If you look at the core principles of all these militant organisations, you will come to know that Al-Qaeda, Taliban and ISIS and all the other Islamic militant organisations which are based in Pakistan (such as Lashkar-e-Tayyeba and Jamat-e-Islami) - they are chips off the same block.

But the thing is: why do some Muslims talk about divine love? Why do some Muslims want to love everybody regardless of their religious background? There are many thousand Sufis in India and so much so as in India, there are many thousand Sufis in Pakistan as well. These Sufis have always projected Islam as a message of peace and love. How come they projected Islam as a global peace and love mission while these Islamic militants are showing to the world the unreal, untrue face of Islam (which most probably has been invented by their own concocted and fabricated theosophical imagination)?

In order to understand where they go wrong, we need to see how they understand the religion of Islam.

A man was born in the central province of Hijaz, Najd. His name was Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Najdi. He is the main mastermind, the main culprit. He is the enemy of Islam.

He is the enemy of the Prophet of Islam. He is the enemy of God. Frankly (but truthfully) speaking, he was darkened by heart and he did not have the ability to understand the religion. He is someone who was naïve to the verses of the Quran; who didn’t know the purpose of revelation, who did not understand the divine word.

In order to understand what is wrong with the Wahhabi school of thought, we need to dissect this entire Wahhabi sect.

Abrogation of Quranic Verses
I need your full attention: even at the time of the Prophet Mohammad, there were many verses of the Quran which were abrogated by God himself.

People exclaimed, ‘God cannot say anything wrong or bad. Why have these verses been abrogated by God?’

God replied, ‘I can abrogate any of my verses anytime and I can bring forth another one to replace it. That is to do with my will and accord; I do what I please to do.’

Why were those verses abrogated?

In order to understand that question we must stick to what our Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi said:
‘Every messenger was granted two types of knowledge: revelation which was revealed onto the messengers for common people and mysterious revelation. Those revelations would stay inside the heart of the prophet and he wasn’t supposed to make it public. It would stay in the heart and it was meant to be dispensed internally from one heart to another.’
This is how Sufis go about.

Abu Hurerra said to the Companions of the Prophet, ‘I was granted two types of knowledge by the Prophet. I only told you about number one. If I told you about the other one, you would have killed me.’

You can understand how different these two must be. If the other was revealed there would be mischief and bloodshed.

So those verses which were to stay in the heart of the Prophet and be transmitted internally from one heart into another - somehow or other the Prophet Mohammad said it in public. People were really surprised and said, ‘What are you talking about? That’s totally the opposite of what you said yesterday.’

The Prophet did not have any clue how to take control of the situation. So God then jumped in and said, ‘Wait, I’m going to abrogate these verses.’

From the study of the Quran we understand with reference that God has the authority and power to abrogate any verse of the Quran at any time and replace it with another one.

Changes in Society Over Time

The way Indians and Pakistanis cook their food, Prophet Mohammad and his companions did not cook food the same way. So the way we cook food cannot be Sunnah. We sleep in cosy beds now. There were no cosy beds at the time of the Prophet Mohammad. We travel by plane, by car, by bus. I don’t even vaguely remember if I ever rode on a donkey or horse. Why not? We have cars and buses. The time has changed.

Somebody sent me a question. They said, ‘I am travelling, so can I offer Salat Qasr?’

‘Qasr’ means ‘to reduce.’

I said, ‘No, it’s not for you. It’s not for anybody. It’s gone.’

‘Because this was said at the time of the Prophet Mohammad. When people would travel, they would travel by riding a horse or camel. If it is a short journey, they would ride a horse. If it was a long journey, a horse is not good enough; for that, they would ride camels. It would take you a week or two travelling from one city to another riding a camel. Then it was so hot in Saudi Arabia, even 1436 years ago. Travelling was undesired most of the time. People would only travel if they must.’

Keeping that difficulty of travel in mind, God allowed you to reduce the number of Rakat in Salat and Soum. But now, you’re on a 6-hour flight looking for Salat Qasr. That’s wrong!

For example, according to Islam, you’re not supposed to look at women. But if I live in the United Kingdom or the United States of America, if I don’t look at women while talking to them, they think I’m disrespecting them.

For example, I would always talk to women with my gaze lowered. One day a woman asked me, ‘Why do you do that?’

I said, ‘Well, it’s for various reasons.’

She replied, ‘Is this because you think I’m not beautiful?’

‘No, no, no. That’s not the reason.’

‘Do you think it is useless talking to me?’

‘No, no, no. That’s not the reason. In Islam we’re not supposed to look at women.’

‘Oh, come on.’

People don’t understand it! Now, when we are walking in malls and business places, there are women everywhere. Should I just close my eyes? The times have changed!

The Azaan (Call for prayer): at the time of the Prophet Mohammad, people would live nearby in huts and hujras. You would be standing on the roof of the mosque giving the call and people would hear it; they would come to mosque. If you do the same without a loudspeaker today, even you won’t hear your voice. It’s so noisy. So you need a loudspeaker; but the Prophet did not use it.

You cannot practise Islam the same way it was practiced 1436 years ago.
1400 years ago, you could marry four women at the same time. Now, if you are married and have one wife, that’s enough to destroy you! You cannot afford two wives mentally. Times have changed!

Women are raising slogans of equality and they are Muslims. It is clearly mentioned in the Quran that men have the upper hand over the women. It is clearly mentioned in Ahadith that women have untrustworthy intellect.

Today there have been female prime ministers and presidents of many countries: for example, Indra Ghandhi (India), Benazir Bhutto (Pakistan), Corazon Aquino (Philippines) and now Hilary Clinton is running for the presidential election in the USA.

We are living in a time which is totally opposite of the times 1400 years ago. Many things have changed.

What should we do now?

Mujaddideen and Renewal in the Religion
In order to keep the religion of Islam updated, God decided to send Mujaddideen. From time to time, they would come and tell people according to the situation and [era], ‘You should do things this way, not that way.’

What is the role of a Mujaddid? Mujaddid is an Arabic word, which comes from Tajdeed. It means ‘renew’; Mujaddid means ‘renewer’. You can also say that a Mujaddid is a reformer. Of course, there is some legitimate difference between reform and renewal: to reform is to fix the same old thing. It is like something has gone wrong with someone’s iPhone, he takes it to the Apple Store and they repair it. But when everything is wrong with the iPhone and nothing seems to work, it becomes irreparable. Then you do not reform it; you replace it. You renew it (make it new again).

So there was a Mujaddid after 100 years and a Grand Mujaddid in 1000 years. Mujaddid Alif Thani is the Grand Mujaddid. Their job was to interpret Quran according to the necessity of the time and then legislate Islamic laws as need arose.

When God thinks something has gone terribly wrong and it must be entirely changed, then he replaces the verses of the Quran with new ones. But who will bring the news ones? The Prophet has gone back to the pavilion. God is not going to send Jibrael (Gabriel) to delete the previous verse in the Holy Book of the Quran and write the new one. It doesn’t happen like that.

The new one is introduced by the Mujaddid. So the new verse is supposed to be notified to the public by God’s representative who is in contact with God and spiritually he is able to receive the replacement of the revelation.

You become a Mujaddid only after a thorough austerity, purgation and purification of the self, purification of the heart and thorough knowledge of spirituality and Sufism.

When your entire system has been spiritualised and you are now able to see God, speak with God and enter into a mutual conversation with God, only then you will receive replacement of the verse from God and you will notify it to the public.

If you have an outfit that is 1436 years old, would you want to wear it? No. It is too old. When the television was invented, it was in black and white. But time elapsed and more features were introduced. We have smart TVs now. The television has entirely changed over a period of time. Do you want a 100-year-old TV to watch a cricket match or a film? No, because a lot of updates have come and the television has become glamorised.

In a similar way, when the religion of Islam was revealed, it was not revealed fully. From time to time, it would require some updates from God according to the need of the time.

Let me give you an example: the reason why Muslims grow beards. According to the Prophet Mohammad (saw), ‘The Jews grow their moustaches. You should grow your beards so that you can be easily identified.’

The beard is a mark of identification, nothing else. So what was the purpose of growing the beard at the time of the Prophet Mohammad? That you are identified as a Muslim. Today there are many nations that grow beards so growing a beard is not a mark of distinction anymore. It has lost its purpose - and your entire religion is circumbulating around your beard. This is because you have no spiritual intelligence or intuition. You live in a fool’s paradise.
Muhammad Abdul Wahhab Najdi said, ‘We want to practise the same principles of Islam which were practised at the time of the Prophet Mohammad.’

All the aima ikram like Imam Ali, Abu Bakr Sadiq RA, Imam Hasan Basri RA, Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Ans bin Malik, Imam Ahmed bin Hambal, Imam Shafay who interpreted the Quran and reformed the principles of Sharia, [Wahhabis] do not want to follow them. They do not want to accept the reformation and renewal of any verse of the Quran which was done by the Mujaddid. They want to follow the same [old] principles. A lot has changed! You cannot practise the same principles.

‘Go kill Kafireen (infidels) wherever you find them.’

This is in the Quran, but my friends, you have to be little intellectual. This verse was revealed when the Prophet was in the battlefield. This verse was for the battlefield because they were already fighting and the Kafireen were hiding.

So it was said to the Prophet Mohammad, ‘Tell them: go around and wherever they find the enemy, kill them.’ But that was for the battlefield 1436 years ago. Now you apply for an American or British visa and you want to go there to kill them - and you say, ‘The Quran said it.’

This is why they say, ‘We want to stick to those principles of Islam which were practised at the time of Prophet Mohammad.’ Then you want to exclude whatever changes were made by God from Quran, from Islam. Well, we understand the Prophet left after 63 years of age. But God is still alive. He can send his information through any of his men: Sufi’s, auliya, fuqra, dervish. God is not dead. Prophet Mohammad is the Last Messenger; but who will guide humanity if no guidance will ever come from God? Why would God do that? The Last Prophet has come and he has gone back but guidance is still needed.

We do not dispute the fact that Prophet Mohammad is the Last Messenger, but it does not mean nobody will seek guidance now. We don’t have a Prophet but we have God alive! It is not the duty of the Prophet to guide people.

The Quran: ‘O’ Prophet Mohammad, it is not you who will guide people to whomsoever you love. It is us. We who will guide people.’

God hasn’t left. God is still there. He can guide anyone through any means. He can guide Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Christians or any other religion.

These individuals [who follow the Wahhabi sect] want to practise the same concept of Islam which was abolished later on.
For example, ISIS is selling and buying women. Why? At the time of Prophet Mohammad, the world was different. Now, if you leave these women, they will find a job. They will make their bread and butter. They can live a prosperous life. They are not servants anymore; they are not your slaves. Slavery was abolished - but they are still doing it. Why?

They say, ‘It was abolished by Abu Bakr Sadiq; we don’t want it.’ If you think that way, don’t touch this Quran; it was compiled by Abu Bakr Sadiq.

They are hateful souls. What they present is not Islam.
