MFI’s Procession Against Wahhabism, Zakir Naik and Peace TV in India

On June 20th, members of Mehdi Foundation India staged a procession urging the government to ban Zakir Naik, Wahhabism and Peace TV. This was part of initiative to curb radicalisation in India, in response to the dramatic rise of Wahhabism in the country. Many people attended our demonstration. It was covered by different media outlets, who praised our bold actions and called for further support of this cause. We are pleased with the result of our efforts and we will continue to speak out against Wahhabism and its dangers in India for as long as it is necessary!
