In Loving Memory of Jawed Riaz

It is with both sorrow and hope that we pay our respects to Jawed Riaz on the day of his passing. Jawed was a longtime member of Mehdi Foundation International and a sincere admirer of His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi who spent his final days spreading the message of love and spirituality in South Asia. Jawed was also a dear friend of Younus AlGohar. 

The following is Younus AlGohar's statement on this day.

Dear Folks,

We all have come into this world for a short-lived stay. Nobody will live here forever. Blessed are those that have enlightened their heart and awakened their souls. What we do in this life will determine our future life. Most people spend their life in making money and they become wealthy.

Those that have a loving soul live their life like a mission and their foremost mission is to please the Lord. Association with HH GoharShahi makes a nobody a somebody.

Knowing and being attached with HH GoharShahi itself is an abundance of bounty and blessings however, there are some elite who steer a number of aspiring people to HH GoharShahi and serve the cause of love and enlightenment. Such a soul is Jawed Riaz who had been a great business man throughout his life-span. Towards the twilight of his life he devoted himself to serving the cause of Imam Mehdi RaRiaz Gohar Shahi. He worked day and night tirelessly to promote the mission of Love and peace. He loved HH Gohar Shahi and supported the cause.

Today as he departed from this phenomenal world, he is a successful candidate to availing eternal blessings and very close proximity of HH GoharShahi.
I sincerely believe the fact that Jawed Riaz is far from needing anybody pray for him, HH GoharShahi is enough for Him.

As a humble servant of HH GoharShahi I feel ecstatic to salute our soldier of Love “Jawed Riaz”.

What a man! And what a life he lived! Let’s pay tribute to his service of love and rejoice in the fact that he enjoys a never-ending bond of Love with HH GoharShahi!

Younus AlGohar explains how sins and rewards have a practical implication on one's life and how to obtain the reward of reciting the Koran 72 000 times.

Main points:

- According to a Prophetic Tradition, there are two aspects of sin: A record of the sin in the book of deeds and a practical punishment which results in the darkness of the heart. In a similar way, there are rewards. The performance of good deeds are also recorded in the book of deeds and the practical reward for it is Divine Energy.

- If your heart echoes with God's name just once, you will be granted the reward of reciting the Koran 72 000 times, however, this is a specific rank which is obtained after becoming an Enlightened Heart. This does not occur in the early stages of obtaining Opening of the Spiritual Heart. Rather, when Divine Energy reaches your entire bloodstream and then your heart echoes God's name once, the amount of Divine Energy secreted from the body is equivalent to the Divine Energy generated by reciting the Koran 72 000 times.

- One day, Prophet Mohammad said, 'When I entered a cemetery, I saw that the deceased were being tormented which saddened me. But then a crow dropped a bone because of which the torment was stopped. That bone belonged to an Enlightened Heart.'

- If the reward of an Enlightened Heart saying God's name just one time is the Divine Energy of reciting the Koran 72 000 times, one can only imagine the intensity of Divine Energy coming from a heart which echoes with God's name for an hour and a half and it is able to grant salvation to the tormented dead. No matter how much you love a deceased relative, no one can recite the Koran 72 000 times for someone.

Can one obtain a connection with God without an intermediary? Find out in Younus AlGohar's lecture about sainthood and guidance.

- The educated people have developed a bad conjecture for Spiritual Guides. One of the reasons is that there have been no Perfect Spiritual Guides in the world for 400-500 years and those who pose to be Spiritual Guides either loot people or they are driven by Carnal desires. They know nothing about the esoteric knowledge. The lack of religious knowledge deprived people of the truth. People have forgotten why it is necessary to have a Spiritual Guide and what the job of a Spiritual Guide actually is.

- When the educated generations came under the influence of organisations such as Jammat-e-Islami, they were told the system of Spiritual Guides is an innovation in the religion which resulted in them becoming disillusioned with saints and rejecting the intermediary which is mentioned in the Koran.

- God said in the Koran, 'Whomsoever I want to misguide is deprived of finding a Spiritual Guide.' Therefore, granting guidance through a Spiritual Guide is the method of God. God does not grant guidance directly. Although sainthood is now terminated, God has given the method of identification of a true saint in the Koran: The saints are chosen from among the Enlightened Believers. If you are not even an Enlightened Believer, how will you recognise a saint? Furthermore, how will you get access to God?

- No one can obtain the expertise in a field without obtaining the correct knowledge which is dispensed in schools by teachers. If teachers were not necessary then why don't we just have libraries? Why are there schools and universities? Similarly, how will you differentiate between the voice of God and the voice of the Devil without an intermediary? You must obtain the esoteric knowledge and the ability to investigate spiritual matters from the one who has the expertise in the field.

In this lecture, Younus AlGohar discusses the spiritual survival guide for the Devil's tricks and deception.

Main points:

- The Devil is aware of every single weakness of yours. He attacks all your weak points whether it is money or family or your ego. You may not even be aware of your weakness but the Devil knows where to hit.

- The Devil said to God, 'I shall misguide all human beings, for except those who are sincere to you, my Lord.' This means that the Devil is after everyone. Even those who have embarked upon the Spiritual Path are in the process of purification of the Spiritual Heart and Carnal Self.

-The Devil leaves no stone unturned in trying to deceive them.
The Devil doesn't have to go to people directly, he recruits his agents,  the Khannas (Evil Whisperer) and the Nafs (Carnal Self) is enough for misguidance.

- The Devil goes to the elite people and nobody is born elite, rather, you become elite when you obtain the company of a Spiritual Guide. The Spiritual Guide takes the responsibility of your protection should the Devil try to attack you.

- Once the aspirant of Spirituality becomes successful in all the tests and God bestows his blessings and mercy upon the aspirant and grants them a lower rank of Sainthood, they no longer become susceptible to the Devil’s tricks. Therefore, only those are free from the shackles of the Devil who have managed to rid themselves of the Devil.

Raah-e-Salook Mein Shaadi Karni Chahiye Ya Nahen?

What is the reason that Sufis would refrain from getting married when marriage is a custom of Prophet Mohammad?

Main points:

- There are many ranks among the Sufis. There are many Sufis who did not marry and there are many who married, had children and had their own businesses. Not all Sufis were the same. If a Sufi decided to remain celibate for the rest of his life, it is not a sin.

- Marriage is a custom of Prophet Mohammad, however, if you do not get married because you do not want to be distracted from the path of God then it is not a sin. Prophet Mohammad did not say you will lose your faith if you do not marry.

- If one person follows the custom of marriage but remains entangled in worldly matters and another person remains celibate and obtains faith then who is better off? There were many Sufis who obtained culmination of Spirituality, they obtained Divine Union and then they decided to get married and have children.

- Marriage is not the greatest custom of Prophet Mohammad. The greatest custom is to obtain God. Most Muslims only adopt the customs which they find enjoyable because they want to indulge in luxuries. Marriage is for those who desire to keep a companion and those who enjoy solitude should remain celibate. The Prophetic Tradition narrates that the celibate are better.

- There are some customs of the Prophet Mohammad without which you cannot become an Enlightened Believer (Momin) and some customs are suitable to adopt only after you have become an Enlightened Believer.

Younus AlGohar's illustrates what one must do for the upkeep of the Opening of the Spiritual Heart.

Main points:

- One who has obtained Opening of the Spiritual Heart must regularly sit in the circle of Dhikr for three consecutive years. If the Spiritual Heart is not supplied with Divine Energy in the early stages, it is possible that the Dhikr may be terminated.

- After three years, the Spiritual Heart becomes spiritually nurtured enough to be self-sufficient as it will generate Divine Energy without needing help.

- After the span of three years, God shall determine the number of times the heart will repeat the name of God in one day. No matter what time of the day, it is the heart's duty to complete the designated quota.
