The following is a translated excerpt from His Holiness Younus AlGohar's speech (video above).
A Hadith states, 'In the last era, the Khwarijeen (those who have been expelled from the Ummah) will spread mischief again.'
Quran:
إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ
ٱللَّهُ لِيُذۡهِبَ عَنڪُمُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡبَيۡتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ
تَطۡهِيرً۬ا
[33:33]
No doubt God has intended to purify your Ahle Bayt (household
of Prophet Mohammad) from all esoteric and exoteric impurities, to become pure
to perfection. The name of this method of purification is Tasawwuf (Spirituality).
When we wondered why God only intended to do so,
we received an answer from God that the Ahle Bayt of Prophet Mohammad was not
confined to that era only. Rather, for many coming years, the souls of the Ahle
Bayt would continue to descend and they too would be granted this purification;
whether it was a soul such as that of Salman Farsi (who Prophet Mohammad
admitted into the household of the Prophet in his era) or whether it was a soul
from a different era such as Abdul Qadir Jillani or Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaz. This
spiritual system is based upon the Quranic Verse, Ayat-e-Tat’heer.
The clerics focus upon the purification of the body
only. If this was the only type of purification, then why would evil whispers
(Waswasay) settle in the heart? Why then would evil whispers distract you
during your Salat? Besides evil whispers, negative vices such as jealousy,
arrogance, greed and malice are present in the form of esoteric birds within
the human breast. These four esoteric birds were taken out from the breast of
Prophet Abraham and purified, as mentioned in the Quran.
People run after worldly pleasures and wealth, but why
does it not cross their minds to obtain God’s nearness, like the saints Daata
and Khwaja? The Lord is the same for all. If any foreign object enters your
eyes, you take it out immediately. But if the heart is corrupted, why don’t you
fix it? It is the heart that connects one with God, and if the heart is not
purified then your Salat will not reach God. The Quran states that:
إِنَّ
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ تَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِ
[29:45]
Salat prevents one from
committing immoral and bad deeds.
People are offering Salat and their hearts and minds
are flooded with indecent thoughts and images of women during the Salat. Why
aren’t they concerned about this? Why don’t they ever think to get rid of this
evil whisperer inside them?
A true aspirant of God goes to a Spiritual Guide whom
God has appointed. The Spiritual Guide tells the aspirant, 'Your heart is in the control
of the Devil.' This Spiritual Guide initiates the heart with the name of God; once the heart has been enlightened and God settles within the heart, then the
heart is freed from the shackles of the Devil.
His Divine Eminence Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi said, ‘The Ummati (true follower) of Prophet Mohammad is one who possesses Divine Light (Noor) in his heart.’
When the Divine Light exited from the hearts of the
Ummah of Prophet Mohammad, people became Sunni, Shiite and Wahabbi. If today
somebody’s heart is enlightened with Divine Light, that person will never say, 'I am Sunni or Shiite.' Rather, he would say, 'I am your Ummati, O' Messenger of
God.'
When HDE Gohar Shahi gave the true teachings of Islam, which are the essence of the Quran: Come and enlighten your hearts with the
name of God, so that your Salat too can reach the throne of God (Arsh-e-Ilahi),
so that you may obtain the purpose of your fasts (which is the purification of
the Nafs (Self)) and so that this Kalima may grant you salvation. The clerics opposed this; they realised that if they supported HDE Gohar Shahi, a Spiritual Revolution would
come about. Therefore, they left no stone unturned in defaming and opposing
HDE Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi. All the negative propaganda against HDE today is
because of the false stories spread by these mischievous clerics.
