Recognition of a Hafiz-e-Quran

To memorise words is not knowledge; to memorise words and repeat words like a parrot is cramming. There are the individuals who do not know the meaning of 'Hafiz of Quran.' A simple word for 'Hafiz' in English is 'Guard.' Hafiz-e-Quran are those who are guarding the Quran.

Where is Quran, how are you guarding it and who are you guarding it against? You are the protector of Quran. You become a protector of Quran when the memory chip of Quran from the heart of Prophet Mohammad is shared by your heart; when all the exoteric and esoteric knowledge, the inner dimension and the outer dimension of the knowledge is stored in your heart - and the divinely understood meaning of Quran is also granted to your heart.
Protection of the Quran is totally based on having the right, divinely-approved interpretation of the book. How will you protect the Quran? When some people will give a reference from Quran and they will tell the world the wrong meaning of the Quran, you will stand up on your feet and you will say, 'No this is wrong; this is not what it means. I'll tell you what it really means.'
You will not let people develop a misconception or misinterpretation of the Holy Word. How will you convince people? You will have in your heart authority, power and light. People will sit in your company and they will feel as if the burden of sins is lifting off them. They will feel that they are becoming light. They will feel their heart is now drawn towards God's love.
Whenever one sits in your company, he feels he is closer to God.
Although he doesn't know where exactly in that company God is sitting; however, he can feel God is not far when he is with you.

Quote of the Day: A Willing Heart...

'A willing heart is a passport to success in spirituality.' - His Holiness Younus AlGohar

The Nature of Man and Knowledge of Eminence

The following is an except of His Holiness Younus AlGohar's speech.

Killing, killing, killing everywhere. Bloodshed, carnage, massacre and butchery; people have conceived different reasons for this. The thing is, people are now calling these murderers as animals, but they do not really know why these murderers are animals. If they want to answer you the reason why they call murderers as animals, they will tell you it is because they have no mercy for human beings; they are so hateful. But I will tell you: they are animals because what [would make them] a man is not present in them.

This is not the first time the world is witnessing hatred and bloodshed. This act of butchery is as old as human beings. I would like to give you the right conception of what is going on and what the solution is. Right now, it appears extremely unlikely to stop Radicalised Muslims from killing. But, according to the saying of the Prophet Mohammad, very soon in the future, the Awaited One will fill the entire world with peace, love and justice. The way the Awaited One is going to establish peace, love and justice is such that not just the people who live in this world, but also the creatures who live in the skies will be happy.

I want to tell you why exactly this killing is going on. I would like to start my argument with some verses from the Holy Quran, narrated by God.

'Your Lord said to the angels, "I am going to appoint a Caliph on Earth."'
(Quran 2:30)

The angels said, 'Why do you want to appoint a man again who will surely and definitely shed blood and bring corruption? If you are creating this man so that somebody can praise and glorify you, then, we can do that thing for you. Don't create a man again because he will spread mischief and shed blood.' This was the initial assessment of a man from angels.

What we understand from this first and foremost is that this was not the first time God was about to create a man. He had created a man previously; that man must have done a lot of killing, bloodshed and spread a lot of mischief - and this is how angels developed a bad conjecture for man. As a result of this bad conjecture, the angels did not like this idea of God creating man yet again. So they objected to God. As long as glorifying and praising God was concerned, the angels wanted to tell God that they would happily glorify him and praise God enough.

They mentioned two things when God announced his plan of creating man again:

1 - He will shed blood.

2 - He will spread and get involved in mischief.

Some people fall in the category of those who spread mischief and some people fall in the category of those who get fascinated by the mischief and start killing people. Some people are confined to sprouting out mischief and invigorating hearts and minds of people with the heat of hatred; they compel them socially, economically, mentally and religiously to become terrorists.
The angels said, 'You are creating man again. Don't you know he will become involved in bloodshed and spread mischief?' These are not two acts; this is mention of two different groups of people.
What is mischief? For example, we are all sitting here in peace and love. If Mr A says, 'Look! Mr B is sitting here so innocent, but did you know that in the Shopping Centre, he was having sex with somebody?' Mr. A is lying; it never happened. But before people find out it was a lie, enough damage would have been done. What is it? Mischief.

So now, the angels objected to God, 'You are creating him again; he will spread mischief and shed blood. If you are creating man so that he can praise and glorify you, then we want to assure you that we can do it very well.' God said, 'I know what you don't.' It's like inventing the Concorde Plane. They said, 'You will be in New York from London in less than two hours.' The ticket from London to New York in a Concorde about 16-17 years ago was £11 000. So it was good, but for how many people? Did it really help the international frequent travellers? Even when Concorde was operating, not many people would fly by Concorde. Now see how God ignored the objections raised by the angels. He said, 'I know what you do not.' Then he said, 'I am going to give Adam the knowledge of my names.' God said he was going to give this man some sort of special knowledge with the help of which, this man would be eminent.

What we understand is that the objection raised by the angels was there; the possibility of man getting involved in bloodshed and spreading mischief was still there. It is just that God was going to give this Adam some special knowledge which would nullify the likelihood of man getting into bloodshed and mischief again. However, minus this knowledge, man is the same as [that which was] objected by the angels.

For example, if I say, 'I'm going to buy a house in Dubai,' all of you will say, 'You can't live in Dubai because it is very hot.' I will say, 'Oh no, you don't know what I know; I am going to install an air conditioner in every room.' I install air conditioning unit in every room you visit that house, you sit there in a cool atmosphere and you really praise it. You would say, 'We didn't really know it would be so cool.' Then again, someone else says, 'I'm going to buy a house in Dubai.' If he doesn't have enough money to install an air conditioner, then his house is not going to be like mine. So minus air conditioning, living in Dubai is a nightmare.

Installing an air conditioning unit in your house does not mean the entire Dubai will change; giving wonderful knowledge of eminence to one man does not mean the entire humanity will become sublime or the likelihood of entering into mischief and bloodshed has now gone down the drain.

This idea was not properly calculated by God. Did he ponder, 'What if people who did not obtain this knowledge? What would they do?' They would do the same as what they did in the past. Then the angels will have a laugh and say 'That is what we said [would happen].' He will say, 'It is not my fault because he did not acquire knowledge.' Whatever may be the reason for not acquiring the knowledge, the result is that man is doing what he has done in the past: spreading mischief and getting engaged in bloodshed, carnage, slaughter and butchery of humankind. God appointed man to be his second, his caliph, his vicegerent - but he became a terrorist.

In cricket, if an opportunity of a catch is created in every over and the wicket-keeper takes only one catch, then it is not satisfactory. There is far greater Knowledge of Eminence available today than the Knowledge of Eminence which God gave to Adam. How many people are willing to receive it?

I thought maybe when God created the nature of man, he created in the nature of man the desire of mischief and bloodshed, so this is the reason why men are prone to it. But having read this verse in the Quran, it appears to me as though the desire of mischief and the desire for bloodshed were not specifically injected in the nature. This is how it is.

This is something which is part of men, because the angels didn't say, 'You are designing this man to be a killer.' They had seen what men did in the past, so when they saw God having this plan in the pipeline that he would create men yet again, they said that he would do the same - because this is what men have been good at. Then what happened? Adam came and the first murder was done among his close progeny. One of his sons killed the other.

In cricket, I am a very good bowler and I can move the ball from off to leg and from leg to off, but does it mean my sons will automatically be able to do the same as I do? They will have to learn. God gave eminence to one man and rest of humanity was thrown into uncertainty and ambiguity. Now, nobody knows how to be a good man, nobody knows where the Knowledge of Eminence is and nobody even knows that there is a Knowledge of Eminence. If you live in a jungle and nobody has ever taken a shower in front of you, then you would never have this thought in your mind that you would want to have a shower - because you don't know. You are dirty and there is plenty of water but you don't know that if you take a shower, all the dirt will be removed from your body.

After God's statement that he knows something that we don't know and he is going to give this man some fabulous, fascinating, and sublime knowledge, the objection was thrown out the window by God straight away. 'What you are suspecting will never happen. You know why? Because I am giving him special knowledge.' This conversation between the angels and God suggests there will be no bloodshed and mischief this time because every single person from this progeny will be sublime, will be great. There will be no mischief; there will be peace and love, that's all. What a picture!

According to the Quran only those will become sublime that acquire the special knowledge. And the rest who don't acquire this special knowledge, whoever they may be, will shed blood and create mischief.

Quote of the Day: The Best Language...

'The best language is the language of love.' - His Holiness Younus AlGohar

RE: Letter by Communities Secretary Eric Pickles (United Kingdom)

Some of the Muslims think that Islam cannot be part of Britain and Muslims cannot integrate into British society; some others say that Muslims can integrate into British society. First we would like to see what integration is and what exactly it means.

In the olden times, when different regions of the world were ruled by kings and premiers, the kings would keep certain individuals around them who would ensure that the culture was alive and enriched. Different departments were in operation which would ensure that art was promoted. There were comedians who would make jokes, some of which would be practical jokes. There was a royal comedian in India; oftentimes he would take a guise of somebody, come before the king and ask the king to recognise who he is. Oftentimes, the king would recognise him. Then, one day, he said, 'Now watch out. I am going to take a guise of somebody and you would never ever be able to recognise me.' Then he went into a secluded area. He grew his beard, he grew his hair on his head and he would engage himself in the worship. He would stay in the jungle and after some time, people would pass by him and see that he was always engaged in worship. People started to respect him; they thought he was a saint of God because he would never talk to anybody and he was always engaged in worship. In no time, the news reached the ears of the king. People said, 'He is a great saint of God. He doesn't talk to anybody. We bring stuff and he doesn't even look at them. He is so sincere with God.' So the king was really surprised and he felt an enormous amount of respect for the man who was allegedly a saint of God. The king went to see this man; when the king saw him, he kissed his feet and said, 'Pray for me. You are a great saint of God.' He said, 'King, do you recognise me?' He said, 'No.' He replied, 'I am the same person who would take many guises and you would recognise me. But this time you failed.' If you want to take the guise of somebody, you have to adopt everything that he does.

In a similar way, when we see Pakistanis, Indians or other Muslims that are permanently settled in the UK and we want them to integrate into British society, what exactly does it mean? What measures have to be taken for this integration? How do we integrate into British society? Does it mean that we adopt the British sense of humour or does it mean we should put a British flag on our houses and learn to speak English? Does it mean we adopt the cultural values of Britain? What should we technically do? One important question is: does this integration include religious practice as well? For example, there are certain types of food that Muslims do not consume. There are certain types of drinks that Muslims do not consume; Muslims do not want to eat pork and Muslims do not want to drink alcohol. So, is this integration going to be affected by the fact that some of the members of the British society do not want to drink alcohol while others are drinking alcohol? Some fractions of British society want to alienate themselves from consuming pork and some other fractions in society, who are known as Hindus, want to be vegetarians. If you talk about different religions strictly, then Hindus are not allowed to consume alcohol. Hindus are not allowed to eat beef. Pure, sincere Hindus are not allowed to eat any kind of meat. Sikhs are not allowed to eat eggs or meat. So, what type of integration are we discussing?

Integration is the requirement of uniformity. In order to look the same, you need integration. You develop some commonality that is so obvious, that the world will recognise you as a member of British society.

However, if Hindus do what they are supposed to do according to their religion and Muslims do what they are supposed to do according to their religion, as long as long as their religious practice is concerned, nobody is going to recognise them as British citizens. Muslims of other countries do the same as Muslims of this country do: Muslims of Saudi Arabia do not eat pork and do not consume alcohol. I'm not including those who violate the religious law; those who do everything are not practising Muslims. Although Muslims and Hindus [today] are doing everything, there are some lone wolves who want to carry the flag of Islam even if they have to carry it alone who want to preserve their cultural and religious values only after the age of 60. When they have done everything in life, then they want to become pious and dedicated to Islam. What kind of religion is this? That is dubious.

Rumi said, 'To purify yourself, illuminate your soul and purify your heart while you are still a youth is a custom of prophets.'

But the thing is: people become prone to practising a religion only when their youth is gone, only when the vigour is gone from their bodies.

Something should be so outstanding that it should add as a unique feature in the character of different people who come from different countries, who practise different religions, who have different cultural backgrounds. It should be something which Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and different people from different religions who have now become British citizens should adopt. That one unique feature in their character should stand out so that when people see them, they can say, 'They are British.'

The way people are explaining and conceiving integration into British society does not fit into my brain. If integration into British society means you should start drinking alcohol, then every country in this world has alcohol and every member of the society is drinking alcohol. Drinking alcohol and eating pork doesn't mean you are now a British Citizen; because if this proves that somebody is a British citizen, then people in Nepal are also eating pork. So then, anybody who drinks alcohol and eats pork is a British citizen? This is not British culture. It is about their ideology. What is their ideology? From the mainstream Christian faith, they have isolated themselves and they have invented a newer form of Christianity. Religion is now under the control of politics. The Church of England is not mainstream Christianity. It means the politicians can make amendments in that religion any time. Catholicism is not practised as a national religion; [Britain is] neither Protestant neither Evangelic, neither modern science, neither Latter Saints of Jesus Christ nor Jehovah's Witness. They have their own brand of religion which has become part of politics.

What I understand and I openly say is that when somebody is granted British citizenship, he has to make a promise to the Queen that he is going to be loyal to the Queen and to the country. If you practically do this, this is enough for you to integrate into British society. I have said it many times: being a British citizen, your permanent abode is the UK and you are living here. This is your country now, so be loyal to the country and the land.

Be loyal to the country and its laws and its values, even if you practise different religions. If you want to be a practising Muslim, fair enough: be a practising Muslim, but at the same time, you should respect British values, their culture and their political point of view. That is my understanding.

Quote of the Day: Stop the Race...

'Stop the race for declaring your individual religion the best.' - His Divine Eminence RA Gohar Shahi

A Message to the International Community About Freedom of Speech

The following is a statement released by His Holiness Younus AlGohar, Co-Founder of Messiah Foundation International, advising politicians on maintaining world peace.

Freedom of Speech does not mean Freedom of Insult. Do not mock any religion. If somebody mocks a religion, then condemn it; but do not start violence and do not kill anybody in the name of God, a prophet or a religion. We are living in a very sensitive world. Do not fuel the fire by mocking and ridiculing any religion.
More important than anything else is to save lives and restore world peace. Anything that generates incitement and that offends religions should be avoided. The terrorists do not have any set agenda on their mind; they are just killing innocent human beings. The terrorists are unreasonable and irrational. Intellectuals and politicians should not incite or provoke them, as they are looking for trouble. A human life is of a great value. The killing must stop now.
The Jews, the Muslims, the Christians and all others are creation of one God. God wants to love you all. Radicalisation in religions has played havoc. Do not forget the Jews have been God's favourite nation. Now is the time for humanity to turn to God's plan of Unity and Love.

Trying to curb terrorism and at the same time persistently calling inciting and provocative remarks as Freedom of Speech is irrational to me. This world is seriously infected with cancer of hatred and terrorism. Please don't worsen the disease by igniting the animals of Radical Islam.

New Video: The True History of Arabs, Islam and Jihad

The real meaning of 'jihad' and why it was ever necessary in the era of the Prophet Mohammad. This video gives profound insight into the culture of pre-Islamic Arabia, the immediate effects Islam had on them and the character of the Prophet Mohammad.

A related quote from His Holiness Younus AlGohar:

'The Prophet Mohammad, the Messenger of Peace and Mercy: the world can obtain utter peace if it takes the Prophet Mohammad, His teachings and His character as a model.'
'Almost 1440 years ago, when the world was filled with ignorance and barbarism and when bloodshed was a normal pattern of life, then came to the world God's Masterpiece: God's total attributes and its manifestation in form of a man - who simply looked like a man, but was the greatest favour of God on humanity. God gave Him his image and His presence and He elevated the human soul to divine heights. He enabled man to witness the most hidden splendour of God's beauty. It would not be unjustified if I said Mohammad is another name to God, who is already known by thousands of name; however, Mohammad is the most beautiful name of God.'
