Namaz Ki Ehmiyat

Younus AlGohar explains the true significance of Salat. Is it the first pillar of Islam? Will the first question asked on the Day of Judgement be about one's Salat? Find out in this video.

Summary:

- Religious people tend to exaggerate the ranks of the prophets or saints they follow. Even if God has not granted that prophet such a grand rank, the followers will say that he did. Disciples of a saint will try their best to declare him the greatest saint in the world even if he is just a minor saint. They think, 'Praising and glorifying the Spiritual Guide as much as possible should be part of our faith.' Similarly, the Barelvis do not talk about any saint - they leave their entire spiritual system to Ahmed Raza Khan, who was a religious scholar, not a saint. All these wrong tenets and concepts develop due to the element of exaggeration among people.

- In a similar way, there is an element of exaggeration when describing the importance of worship now. Muslims, especially in India and Pakistan, think that the gist of all worship lies in Salat and to appear to be a Muslim, all you have to do is keep a beard.

- The entire world knows that the first pillar of Islam is the Motto of Faith (Kalima-e-Tayyab). Therefore, those who say that Salat is the first pillar of Islam are wrong.  If the first pillar of Islam were Salat, then a disbeliever would have to first offer Salat in order to become a Muslim. But in order to become Muslims, people recite the Motto of Faith first; they don't offer Salat.

- Salat was brought down 13 years after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) announced his prophethood, when he ascended on the Night of Ascension. Before that, people used to simply engage in the invocation of God's name.

A Prophetic Tradition states, 'The greatest invocation is that of the Motto of Faith - La Ilaha Illah Allah Mohammad Rasool Allah.'

- Religious scholars say that the first question on the Day of Judgement will be about Salat because Mevlana Rumi said so in his book, the Masnawi. However, Mevlana Rumi is not the authority on the religion nor is any other saint. If anyone is an authority on the religion, it is Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

-  Salat has been made obligatory upon the Devout Believers. A newly converted Muslim is not yet a Devout Believer, so how can he offer Salat? Therefore, this is further evidence that Salat is not the first pillar of Islam. When your heart and other subtleties are enlightened and then you offer Salat - fully aware of the significance of the words that you recite - then your Salat will be of a grand level.

Younus AlGohar answers a question from a viewer who asked, 'What is more important, performing good deeds or being connected to the Lord? Can one obtain proximity to the Lord without performing good deeds?'

Summary:

According to a Prophetic Tradition, the Companions asked Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), 'O' Messenger of God, how will we obtain salvation? Will it be on the basis of our good deeds?' Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) replied, 'Your salvation will not be on the basis of your good deeds. It will be by the grace of God.' He even said, 'I will also be granted salvation by the grace of God.'

    - Good deeds aid your faith and help your faith progress. However, they are not the foundation of your faith. Your deeds are merely proof of your servitude and obedience. You should not neglect the performance of good deeds because there are benefits to be reaped from them. However, the importance should be given to the core of faith rather than good deeds.

    - The core of your faith is your relationship of servitude with Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), of you following Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). It is based on a connection with the Prophet (PBUH) which is only established when you are spiritually attached to him. And this is only achieved when the divine energy of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) settles in your heart with the help of a Perfect Spiritual Guide and your heart is connected to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Allama Iqbal said, 'Reach Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) for he is the essence of the religion. Should you fail to reach Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), all your actions are equalled to Abu Lahab's.'

'O' Devout Believers, do not raise your voice above the Prophet's or speak to him as you would others. Otherwise, your deeds will be destroyed and you will be unaware of it.' - Koran 49:2

    - Here God is instructing us on how to uphold the protocol of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). People in the past have obtained salvation despite having done questionable deeds - purely because of their love for Prophet Mohammad. However, it is unheard of for someone to obtain salvation on the basis of their good deeds having disrespected Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Not only is the individuality of the Prophet more important but it is the nucleus, the core, the essence of faith.

'O' Devout Believers, do not make use of the word 'ra'ina' in the presence of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).' - Koran 2:104

    - The word 'Ra'ina' means concession. When Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) used to deliver lectures, disbelievers would purposefully go to his gatherings to disrupt the speech and confuse the Companions. Their intention was to cause such a ruckus that people there wouldn't be able to hear Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) properly. When they would talk loudly amongst themselves, the Companions would not be able to hear Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Therefore, when asking Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to repeat himself, they would say, 'Give us a concession. Please repeat what you were saying.'

    - The word 'Ra'ina' in Arabic can be stretched to change the meaning from 'concession' to 'crazy'. So the disbelievers in the gathering would make a mockery of Prophet Mohammad by stretching the pronunciation of the word 'ra'ina'. This is when God forbade the use of this word entirely. Instead, God said,

'Rather, say: O' Messenger of God, bless us with your merciful glance.' - Koran 2:104

Momin Ki 3 Iqsam

Younus AlGohar explains the three types of Devout Believers: Sahib-e-Zikar, Sahib-e-Tassawur and Sahib-e-Ism.

Summary:

    - A Sahib-e-Zikar is one who has the invocation of God's name synchronised with his heartbeats. This is the minimum requirement to be a Devout Believer.

    - The rank of being a Sahib-e-Tassawur is greater than that of being a Sahib-e-Zikar. Such a person, along with the invocation in his heart, can successfully visualise God's name. The benefit of having both the invocation of God's name in his heart and being able to visualise God's name is that he has two means of producing divine energy. The divine energy is being produced from both the invocation of God's name and the visualisation of God's name.

'There are some people upon whose hearts faith has been inscribed.' - Koran 58:22

    - This verse of the Koran is in reference to the Sahib-e-Ism. This is the highest rank of a Devout Believer. Their hearts are inscribed clearly with God's name by God. Some people have God's name written in white and others in gold in accordance with their rank.

    - In his entire lifetime, a Sahib-e-Ism sees God's name inscribed on his heart three times. Once when he is granted the name of God. The second time he sees it is when he is at the brink of misguidance; then, suddenly, the Personal Name of God comes before him and he is saved from misguidance. The third time he sees it is when he is about to die; he dies while looking at the Personal Name of God.

    - The meaning of God's Personal Name being inscribed in gold upon certain hearts is that such people will progress on to see God. And those who see God's Personal Name inscribed in white - this means that they will not go on to see God.

Namaz Qayam Kesay Hoti Hai?

***ENABLE CC FOR ENGLISH SUBTITLES***

Younus AlGohar answers a viewer's question about how Salat is established. He also explains what God meant when he said that he was a Mussali.

Summary:

- Three things are necessary for the establishment of the Salat: the declaration by the tongue, the act by the body and the affirmation by the heart. The declaration by the tongue negates disbelief. The body performs the act which negates Fisq. The heart affirms it which negates hypocrisy. The tongue recites the Koran, the body bows and prostrates and the Spiritual Heart generates divine energy.  When the divine energy (which relates to God's attributes) resulting from these three things collectively is stored in the Spiritual Heart, this is the establishment of Salat.

- When a common person performs Salat, he is just like a laptop that only works when plugged into the charger. As soon as you unplug the charger, the laptop shuts off. As long as you were in the mosque, you appeared to be a Devout Believer. As soon as you left the mosque, you reverted to being a hypocrite.  When the gates of the heart are open and the heart is engaged in the invocation, the divine energy from the Salat will be stored in the heart for a short period. After a brief time, the Spiritual Heart will send that divine energy towards God.

- If you are just a Devout Believer, then the divine energy from the Salat that is stored in your heart will be sent by your heart towards God. If you are a Mohqin, you will not send the divine energy of the Salat towards God. Rather the voice of the heart will be made more prominent and that voice will reach the next Empyrean of God.

- There are 7 Thrones of God, not just one. The voice of your heart would reach the corresponding Throne of God depending on how many sub-spirits of your heart have come out. The quality of your Salat depends on the rank of your heart and where your heart can obtain access to. Some people's Salat, like Moula Ali, would reach God directly. That is why Moula Ali heard God's reply while he performed Salat. If your Salat reaches a Throne of God, it is accepted by God and the culmination for you as a Devout Believer, however, it will not convert to the Salat of Rapturous Love. Your Salat becomes the Salat of Rapturous Love only when it collides with God - who is Rapturous Love itself. There are 100 different types of the Salat of Rapturous Love; the type of Salat Bulleh Shah performed was the lowest grade of the Salat of Rapturous Love.

- There is also another type of Salat in which one doesn't even perform Salat. Just as God said, 'Make mention of me and I will make mention of you,' similarly, God said, 'Become my Mussali and I shall become your Mussali.' This statement was for some special personalities. They reached a station where they pleased the Lord in such a way that when they perform Salat, it is not them performing it; it is the Lord who performs it. God's way of performing Salat is not by bowing or prostrating - he simply picks up their hearts and souls and kisses them. This is passive Salat which is accepted only when God performs it. When we recite Durood for Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), we don't actually send benedictions upon him ourselves; rather, we ask God to do so on our behalf because we don't know how to do it. Only God can perform it because it is done in the Realm of Divine Oneness, which no human being can enter. This Salat was for Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Abraham and Imam Mehdi.

Ilm Se Faiz Kesay Hota Hai?

Younus AlGohar explains the spiritual process through which thoughts are verbalised and how spiritual benevolence is rendered through the speeches of saints.

Summary:

 - Thoughts and knowledge relate to the brain. If you hear or read something, it will enter the brain. The Subtlety of Ana is in the brain and its function is to think; the thoughts and knowledge are stored here. The thoughts in our minds will only reach people once they are verbalised. However, our thoughts do not reach the tongue from the mind directly.

 - When you want to verbalise a thought in your mind, the thought first travels from the mind to the subtleties of the chest. One of those subtleties, the Akhfah, is linked with the tongue. Before the thought reaches the tongue, it travels to the subtleties which come before the Subtlety of Akhfah. Before the thought reaches the Akhfah and then the tongue, it has to go through the heart.

 - Either there will be divine energy in the heart or there will be negative energy and corruption in the heart. Suppose a person has an enlightened heart; when a thought travels from the mind to the heart, divine energy from the heart will be mixed with that thought. The thought would be laced with divine energy when it is verbalised by the tongue.

 - If a heart is full of corruption and negative energy, then any thought or knowledge - even the knowledge of the Koran - would be tainted by the corruption and negative energy of the heart when it passes through it. Because of the corruption and negativity attached to it, it would become mischief when verbalised.

Koran 18:28 states, 'Do not follow those whose hearts I have kept heedless of my invocation.'

 - People with corrupt hearts will lecture you and give you the religious knowledge but no matter how pure the knowledge is, it will be tainted by the negative energy in the heart and it will come out as mischief.

 - A Devout Believer is told to speak less. Speaking emits divine energy so they are told not to speak. The less a Devout Believer speaks, the less divine energy is wasted. Whereas, a saint is instructed to speak as much as possible because he is under the divine theophanies and there will not be a shortage of divine energy.

 - His Divine Eminence said that the Beloved's words render spiritual benevolence and the profanities of a Majzoub also render spiritual benevolence. As long as there is divine energy in the heart, no matter what they say divine energy will be emitted. It's not the profanities that render spiritual benevolence, it's the divine energy in the heart. Whether a person whose heart has divine energy uses swear words or recites the Koran, only divine energy will be emitted from their words.

Dunya Mein 4 Qism Ke Insan

Younus AlGohar divulges the four categories of human beings in the world and reveals never-before-heard information about himself and his spiritual journey under the auspicious supervision of His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi.

Summary:

- Prophet Mohammad obtained three types of knowledge: one for the common folks, one for the elite and one for just him.

- There are four categories of people in the world:

1. The People of the Ear, who enjoy listening to speeches and recitals of the Koran. They are satisfied by just listening to religious scholars and Qawwalists. Their enjoyment lies in listening.

2. The People of the Tongue. They are not satisfied with listening to speeches and Naats alone. For them, God has appointed Kamil Shariat guides who teach them how to recite Wazifas. This is what they enjoy doing.

3. The People of the Heart. They do not find joy in listening to lectures to engaging in the verbal recitation of Wazifas. For them, pleasure lies in God's name resounding within the chambers of the heart. The Kamil Tariqat Spiritual Guides engage their hearts in God's remembrance.

4. The People of the Sight. They are not satisfied with listening to lectures, recitations or even the invocation of God's name in the heart. Rather, their enjoyment lies in coming face-to-face with God. For such people, God has appointed the saints at the stages of Fana, Liqa and Billah who grant them the knowledge of witnessing the divine splendour.

- One becomes accustomed to spiritual pleasure. That is when you need something more. Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains that when he first met His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi, he felt immense spiritual pleasure with the revival of the Spiritual Heart and invocation of God's name within. Then one day, HDE Gohar Shahi granted Sayyidi the invocation of the soul and the pleasure changed again. After that, there came a time when each of the subtleties was jumping and engaged in their respective invocations. Sayyidi felt spiritual pleasure in this too, but eventually, the pleasure dulled. Then HDE Gohar Shahi took Sayyidi to the court of Prophet Mohammad, then the gatherings of Prophet Mohammad in the Realm of Angels, then Haqiqat-e-Mohammadi which is situated right in front of the Realm of God's Oneness. Then, HDE Gohar Shahi took Sayyidi to the Realm of God's Throne.

- In the Realm of God's Throne, Sayyidi spent some time at the Point of Oneness (Nuqta-e-Toheed) which relates to Faqr (Spiritual Poverty). He enjoyed it for some time but eventually wanted to progress further. That is when he went to the Point of Rapturous Love (Nuqta-e-Ishq); the spiritual pleasure from that station continues to this day; however, he grew used to this as well. After this, HDE Gohar Shahi embraced Sayyidi Younus AlGohar and performed Spiritual Infusion (Zam) on him.

    - Initially, there was a lot of charm and glamour to the Spiritual Infusion; Sayyidi would look at his hands and see them turn into His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi's before his very eyes. He would see his nose or lips transform into HDE Gohar Shahi's. He would hear his voice changing into HDE Gohar Shahi's voice. He would listen to people but only hear HDE Gohar Shahi's voice. There was a lot of spiritual pleasure in this Spiritual Infusion but eventually, he became accustomed to this as well. Then HDE Gohar Shahi performed another Spiritual Infusion upon Sayyidi Younus AlGohar. In the first grade of Spiritual Infusion, HDE Gohar Shahi performed 7 Spiritual Infusions upon Sayyidi to transform his senses, Lower Self and sight. The next level of Spiritual Infusion was Zam bil Zameer which changed Sayyidi's esoteric appearance. The journey through Spiritual Infusion is on-going to date; each level brings with it its own spiritual pleasure which Sayyidi eventually grows used to. He then progresses on to the next level of Spiritual Infusion.

Kya Dunya 2026 Mein Khatam Ho Jaye Gee?

Younus AlGohar answers a question about the end of the world predicted by His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi in His book, The Religion of God (Divine Love).

Summary

    - When His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi wrote about the asteroid hurtling towards Earth, He said that it was expected to collide in 2026. Whenever a prophet, saint or even Imam Mehdi makes a prediction, it is based on what is highly possible according to God's current plan. God may change his plans depending on the circumstances. As of yet, God has not announced a change in plans regarding the end of the world.

    - Technically speaking, HDE Gohar Shahi wrote about the end of the world based on what He has seen in the higher realms and the current state of affairs with God. He said that God has caused localised destruction to scare people whereas God has sent a large asteroid towards Earth for total destruction. His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi further wrote that the asteroid was expected to collide in 20-25 years (from 2001, the year of publication of The Religion of God (Divine Love)); when the asteroid would collide, it would be the last day of Earth.

    - 2026 is not yet upon us. If God decides by then that the time is not right for the end of the world, all he has to do is command the asteroid to stop. Until certain events take place, Doomsday will be delayed. For example, all the souls in the Realm of Souls must come down and attain their respective destinies; the paradise-bound souls must find a way to obtain paradise having come down in the world whereas the God-loving souls must find a way to reach God.

    - The world cannot end until the Realm of Souls is emptied of all the souls waiting to come down on Earth. The problem is that there are many celestial souls but relatively less terrestrial spirits (which are used to form the bodies on Earth). The terrestrial spirits are recycled after a person dies. A soul cannot come down from the Realm of Souls until there is a set of terrestrial spirits available for it. Therefore God causes mass destruction in order to free up terrestrial spirits for souls still waiting to arrive on Earth. The only way to avoid dying this way is to adopt the spiritual path which takes you towards God.

    - According to a Prophetic Tradition, if Imam Mehdi has still not come and there is just one day left until the end of the world, God will extend the time. The world cannot end without the advent of Imam Mehdi because it is Imam Mehdi who will fulfil God's promises made to the God-loving souls; those souls will only obtain their destiny when they come on Earth and receive benevolence from Imam Mehdi. While Imam Mehdi is in the Seclusion, the entire spiritual world is in a state of uncertainty. When Imam Mehdi's advent takes place, the universe will come to know His spiritual authority and power. He will rule over the hearts of humanity for a number of years.

    - According to the current state of affairs, what Younus AlGohar deduces is that the world is likely to survive past the year 2026. This is based on observations and is not a prediction.

Mursaleen Ke Adyan Kin Ke Liye Hain?

Whom are the religions established by the Grand Messengers for? For which souls is the Religion of God? What were the purposes of the religions established by the Grand Messengers? Younus AlGohar discloses the answers to these questions in yet another astonishing speech!

Summary

    - God created souls in two episodes. 70 000 years before he created souls in the Primordial Times, he had already created three categories of souls: those in his Proximity, Love and Manifestation. In the second episode of creation, God created souls with the Command 'Be' in the Primordial Times.

    - All the souls created with Command 'Be' gathered before God. God asked them if he was their Lord and they affirmed it. God showed them the modelled luxuries of the world and said that those who wished to obtain it may obtain it. A multitude of souls leapt towards the modelled luxuries of the world. The angels were instructed to write it as their fate. Then the modelled luxuries of paradise were shown and many souls leapt towards them; this became their fate. Many souls were unable to decide between luxuries of paradise and the world; they ran out of time so God said that their fates would be suspended.

    - The religions were established for the souls that chose the luxuries of paradise. Through those religions, they would prove their worthiness of paradise. The knowledge which enabled one to reach the greater levels of paradise was introduced with Adam the Eminent One. The Grand Messengers dispenses esoteric knowledge for the paradise-bound people so that they could reach different levels of paradise.

    - Periodically, God would send one or two souls from the first episode of creation on Earth. They were the spiritual personalities who would sacrifice everything for the sake of God and become recluse in jungles. The great prophets and messengers are all from among the souls created before the Primordial Times. They established the religions of the world; however, worship or desire for paradise are not in their own nature. For them, God's Proximity, Love or Manifestation is their destiny. Since God rarely sent these souls, a large number of them are still waiting to come on Earth. They are now coming down in large numbers as this is the era of Imam Mehdi.

    - The prophets that were sent before the era of Adam the Eminent One were from the second episode of creation. The prophets sent after Adam the Eminent One were from the first episode of creation. The religions established by the Messengers are for the souls who chose paradise - they do not suit the souls from the first episode of creation.

    -  The souls from the first episode of creation are coming on Earth now because Imam Mehdi has brought the Religion of God on Earth. If you seek God, you must adopt the religion for which the destination is God's love and to see God. Those who managed to see God from among the Nation of Prophet Mohammad were those who were blessed by Mohammad (PBUH) himself, in his personal capacity. They were the ones who went beyond the religion of Islam to reach God.

    - The main theme of His Divine Eminence Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi's message is Rapturous Love of God. However, there is a large number of paradise-bound souls who must now come to Imam Mehdi to find their destiny because the religions have been subject to adulteration and are no longer valid.

Bulleh Shah Ki Taleem Mein Raaz

At the request of a viewer, Younus AlGohar delivers this striking speech about the true teachings of the famous Sufi saint, Bulleh Shah.

Summary:

    - Bulleh Shah was from the Syed (Sadaat) family and he pledged allegiance to a Spiritual Guide who was from the Arayan caste. His real name was Syed Abdullah Shah but 'Bulleh' became his nickname. His family did not approve of this but he did not care. He did not have any interest in religion. He sought God. Bulleh Shah got everything from his Spiritual Guide, so to him, his Spiritual Guide was everything.

    - The spiritual knowledge relating to the five souls in the chest and Lower Self are found within the religion of Islam. The teachings of Islam itself relate to the Akhfah because Prophet Mohammad's prophethood relates to the Akhfah. The gateway to all the souls in the chest is the Spiritual Heart. Before you can become a member of Prophet Mohammad's nation, you have to obtain the benevolence of the Spiritual Heart which relates to Adam the Eminent One. Then you must enlighten the Main Soul through Abraham's benevolence, the Sirri through Moses's blessings and the Khafi through Jesus's benevolence. Once you have done all this the time will come to obtain the teachings of Prophet Mohammad which relate to the Akhfah. This is what it means to believe in all the Grand Messengers.

    - A Perfect Spiritual Guide is one who connects the disciple with the concerned Grand Messengers to enlighten their souls or he has the permission to dispense the knowledge of the Grand Messengers himself. Prophet Mohammad had access to all the expertise and knowledge of the five subtleties of the chest because God made the Grand Messengers promise to help Prophet Mohammad when he arrived in the world. If a disciple's Spiritual Heart was diseased, the Spiritual Guide would perform 'Dam Milana' with Adam the Eminent One and temporarily receive his spiritual authority to cure the diseased Spiritual Heart.

    - When you obtain the benevolence of all the Grand Messengers and your inner faculties are enlightened and invoking upon God, this is when the religion is complete for you. You are a Devout Believer and this is the stage of faith. If God showers one of your subtleties with the Divine Theophanies, you become a saint of God and begin to converse with God. This is all within the confines of the religion.

    - If you wanted to witness the Divine Splendour, you would have to bow before Mohammad (PBUH) himself as the knowledge of the Ana (which enables one to see God) was granted to Prophet Mohammad separate from his prophethood and messengerhood. This is not part of any religion including Islam. The knowledge of the Ana relates to Rapturous Love and it is the inheritance of Prophet Mohammad. Once a person is connected to God and sees God, it would be a great blasphemy to God if he were to follow any religion - at this stage, God would want him to follow The Religion of God. Once one has seen God, nobody but God had rights upon him including his family and prophet. This is the stage of Hurriyat when one becomes free from the restrictions of Sharia. Bulleh Shah was a person who sought God's Rapturous Love.

    - Once a person has seen God, God may decide to appoint them on duty in the world. Such people are known as Mufeed (Beneficial). One who has seen God has no desire to re-enter the world and deal with people. Therefore in order to entice the Lower Selves of such saints to remain in the world, God gives them many concessions and luxuries. God tells the Mufeed to model the religion for people in public.

Farz Aur Ibadat Mein Kya Farq Hai?

Younus AlGohar explains the difference between religious obligations and worship at the request of a viewer.

Summary

The Koran 51:56 says, 'I created Jinns and human beings to worship me.'

    - The word God used for worship was 'Aboodiyat'. It comes from the same group of words as 'Abd'. God used the word 'Abd' to refer to Prophet Mohammad as well. The combination of body and soul is known as 'Abd'. So 'Aboodiyat' means to love God and become obedient to God with both your body and soul.

    - Since God created you to love and become his with both your body and soul, this should be in your nature. The body becomes subject to laziness - you often struggle to complete the 5 daily Salat. The word 'Aboodiyat' here first refers to the soul. Engage the inner faculties in the worship of God - then even when you toss and turn in bed, your souls will invoke upon God. One Prophetic Tradition states that the first obligation in the religion is the Motto of Faith. There are eternal obligations and temporary obligations in the religion. One eternal obligation you must fulfil is to engage your Spiritual Heart in the invocation of God's name. Worshipping God is in the nature of the Spiritual Heart and soul; God did not create your body to worship him.

    - As your creator, God has rights upon you. Just as your parents have rights on you because they are the ones who brought you into the world. According to a Prophetic Tradition, you cannot even sigh in disapproval if your parents are disbelievers. Similarly, it is God's right upon you that you worship him; if you don't, you are disobedient to God. Consider the religious obligations as a sort of tax from God - you have to pay it. You won't obtain anything out of paying that tax because it is what you owe for God creating you. If you want to obtain God's love, you will have to perform additional worship beyond the obligations.

    - The greatest obligation without which no other obligation can be fulfilled is the permanent settlement of the invocation of God's name within you. The Salat ul Wusta (Middle Prayer) mentioned in Koran 2:238 refers to the invocation of God's name in the Spiritual Heart.

    - On the Primordial Day, when all the souls were assembled, God first asked them, 'Am I not with your Lord?' and they affirmed it. The God showed the souls the modelled luxuries of the world and said that whoever desired it may go forth and obtain it. A countless number of souls leapt towards it and God commanded the angels to write it in their book of fate. Then God showed the modelled luxuries of paradise and said that whoever desired it may go forth and obtain it. Many souls leapt towards it and this was written in the book of fate by the angels. There were many souls who were indecisive; they could not decide between the luxuries of paradise and the world. The time ran out and God told the angels to leave their fate blank; they are known to have a 'suspended fate'. If God had sent those who chose the luxuries of the world straight to hellfire on the Primordial Day, the souls would have objected. They would have said, 'This was a choice made out of poor intelligence. Nevertheless, we did not act upon it.' Therefore to avoid such objections, God sent them to the world so that they could act in accordance with their fate.

    - This world is an examination hall. The Devil does his utmost to misguide you. You must empower and strengthen yourself with divine energy. You must find the right path. And these days, it is very difficult to find the right path - people become subject to divisions on the basis of sectarianism, nationalism, etc. We are in the end times. Tyranny is everywhere. In such a wilderness of hatred, HDE Gohar Shahi is the only one giving the message and practical methodology through which you may become connected to God and enlightened. There is no other path but this.

Jism, Jasd Aur Jussay Main Farq

***ENABLE CC FOR ENGLISH SUBTITLES***

Younus AlGohar reveals the difference between Jism, Jasd and Jussa in this fascinating speech revealing information about the individuality of His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi.

Summary:

- This must be a question in people's minds as to who they would meet when they would go to Kotri to meet His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi. In the video taken on the 9th of Muharram, His Divine Eminence is present and all of a sudden His body begins to tremble. After that, some words from the Suryani language are uttered by His Divine Eminence. If His Divine Eminence's individuality was already present in that body, then what happened on the 9th of Muharram?

- His Divine Eminence said, 'There are some special manifestations of my individuality which I now want to introduce. Neither do those manifestations have any familial relations nor do they know you, the followers.' This simply means that the body we had been meeting did not completely possess the Individuality of Riaz. What happened on the 9th of Muharram was that some special manifestations of His Divine Eminence's individuality arrived but it was not the Individuality itself.

- There has been a multitude of beings in the appearance of His Divine Eminence Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi. Every image of HDE Gohar Shahi is different; no two images are alike. Each image is of a different manifestation of HDE Gohar Shahi.

- There are three words: Jussa (sub-spirit), Jism (body) and Jasd. If the soul and the subtleties are present, then it is called 'Jism. If the body is empty of these souls it is Jasd. Jussa is something in between the soul and body; It is neither entirely the body nor entirely the soul. This is why Jussay (sub-spirits) don’t have bones; they don’t have blood, they have divine energy.

- There are two types of Jussay in spirituality. 1 - those whose nature is divine energy: they come out from the Spiritual Heart. 2 - those whose nature is negative energy: they come out from the Lower Self. The Jussay of the Spiritual Heart are you in appearance but they are very beautiful. Whereas the Jussay from the Lower Self will have rounder eyes, not chiselled.

- You cannot detect a difference between the various manifestations of HDE Gohar Shahi and the body. The so-called ‘Jussay’ of HDE Gohar Shahi have bones; they eat, drink, sit and stand normally. However, this is only the case for HDE Gohar Shahi. It is not the case for anybody else.

Insan Ka Arooj Aur Pasti

What is the reason for the fall of man and when does man reach his culmination? Younus AlGohar explains.

Summary:

- God says in Koran 95:4, ‘Verily, when I created man, I placed my beauty in him. And if I have rejected anyone from among men, then they become the lowest of the low.’

- Man’s culmination is to awaken and enlighten the souls within him and then witness the divine splendour. If those souls which could have been empowered through divine energy to reach God were instead strengthened with negative energy, then man reaches the headquarters of the Devil.

- There are four stages of the Lower Self. Some buildings have a few levels below ground level and some levels above it too. This is how the Lower Self is. If one manages to embark on the spiritual path, the Lower Self progresses from Ammarah (Commanding Self) to Lawamma (Blameworthy Self), Mulhima (Inspired Self) and then Mutmaina (Contented Self). And if the Lower Self obtains negative energy instead of divine energy, its state deteriorates from that of a dog to a snake; from a snake to a cobra and from a cobra to a white snake.

- Once the Lower Self becomes a cobra, it cannot be changed. The Lower Self only goes into decline past the stage of Ammarah when it comes within the grasp of the Devil. If the Devil kidnaps a Lower Self and takes it to his headquarters, the Lower Self begins to change from Ammarah to a snake. Such a person cannot handle a single word of criticism. They become extremely arrogant and egoistic. They think they are better than others and nobody has any value to them.

- It is important to protect the Lower Self. For example, if you have your children play within your house, you can keep an eye on them. But if they leave the house to play with others, they may fall prey to the wrong kind of company. Similarly, your Lower Self leaves your body every night in your dreams. You have no control over it - who knows when it will be taken to the headquarters of the Devil? Therefore you should come to HDE Gohar Shahi so that HDE Gohar Shahi can protect your Lower Self and enlighten your souls, turning you into a man of God.

- If you embark on the path to enlightening the souls, then you will begin to progress. One day you will reach the culmination of man. And if you don’t adopt the spiritual path, one day, God will reject you. In the UK, we put any piece of furniture we don’t want outside our houses - and someone comes and takes it. When God rejects someone, the Devil takes that person immediately. If God rejects someone for his friendship, the Devil immediately takes that person’s Lower Self to his headquarters and trains it. Then he visits a religious cleric that has a lot of followers in his dream and places that Lower Self in the cleric’s body. He kisses his forehead and says, ‘Now I am not needed.’

Zikar Paas Anfaas Aur Zikar Jahar

Younus AlGohar explains what Dhikr with the Breath was and why it used to be utilised by Spiritual Guides in the past.

Summary

- Religiously speaking, Dhikr is a form of worship. But in spirituality, it is a vast field by which different things can be achieved. It is like the difference between home cooking and professional cooking; in this case, Dhikr is like its own professional field.

- There are four parts in Tariqa. The first part is Zakooriyat  (the art of engaging oneself in Dhikr) which is a vast chapter in spirituality. There are 7 subtleties in the human body and they can all be engaged in Dhikr. In addition to this, there are the terrestrial spirits which also can be engaged in Dhikr.

- If the heart is engaged in Dhikr, you are a Devout Believer. But if your Spiritual Guide or God decides to make you a saint, one of your sub-spirits of the heart is taken out. The Qalb-e-Saleem, Qalb-e-Muneeb and Qalb-e-Shaheed all engage in Dhikr.

- The churning of God’s name is the method by which divine energy is produced. Nowadays, we light a fire with matchsticks. But in the past, we would rub flint and steel together to produce a spark. Water splashes to produce hydroelectricity. Similarly, the repetition of God’s name in the heart will produce divine energy.

- The Dhikr with the Breath was initially recommended by many saints of God for their disciples at the beginning of their spiritual journey. The disciples would be engaged in this for quite some time - and the reason for this was that the Guide wanted to keep them engaged in Dhikr while purifying their Lower Selves. It was to make the disciples feel as if they were engaged in Dhikr. When their Lower Selves would be purified, the Spiritual Guide would grant them the Opening of the Spiritual Heart (Dhikr-e-Qalb).

- There is no churning of God’s name with the Dhikr of the Breath. You take 1000 breaths in 1 hour. This is a form of worship. It is not spirituality; it will never revive your Spiritual Heart or other subtleties. This is because breath circulates through the lungs and there is no soul in the lungs.

- There are 3 sub-orders in the Qadri Sufi Order: the Qadri Zahidi, the Qadri Sarwari and the Qadri Muntahi. The Qadri Sarwari are initially told to do Dhikr of the Breath and then later on the Spiritual Guide takes them towards the Opening of the Spiritual Heart. The Qadri Zahidi follow Sharia strictly. The Qadri Muntahi are directly given the Opening of the Spiritual Heart - but this never happened for except when HDE Gohar Shahi gave the Opening of the Spiritual Heart.

- When God’s name enters the heartbeats, the heartbeats are never silent so divine energy will be produced. When God’s name is mentioned 101 times, that is when divine energy begins to be generated. This is why the Dhikr in the heart is the best option; spirituality begins with the Opening of the Spiritual Heart.

Faqeeri Kya Hai?

Younus AlGohar explains how God has given Faqr (Spiritual Poverty) and Ishq (Rapturous Love) a special rank by providing anecdotes from the eras of Moses, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Ghous Pak and Bahauddin Naqshband.

Summary:
-  A woman requested Moses to ask God whether she had children in her fate. Moses asked God and found out she didn't. A few days later, a Fakir walked through her neighbourhood and announced that whoever gave him bread would have children. She hurried to give him bread and later had a child. Some years passed and Moses found the child playing near a fire in an alley; he found out that his mother was the woman who had not had children in her fate. He asked God about it and God said he would tell him later. God first instructed Moses to find someone willing to give God a piece of their meat. Moses searched high and low but nobody was willing to give it. Then Moses found the Fakir a the mountain; the Fakir cut a piece of meat from every portion of his body and gave it to Moses for God. When Moses returned with the meat to God, God said that it was the Fakir who asked God to grant the woman a child - how could God refuse him?

- When Bahauddin Naqshband miraculously got a child out who was stuck in a well, everybody around him praised him; however, there was a Fakir passing by who declared that what Bahauddin Naqshband had done was not a miracle but rather cheap antics. He said, 'Faqr (Spiritual Poverty) is when you do all sorts of [sins] and still, your Faqr is not taken away.' Bahauddin tried to find out who the man was but he could not, which suggested that the Fakir was a great spiritual personality.

- Bahauddin sent one of his concubines to the Fakir with alcohol and a plate full of biryani made from dog meat. The Fakir enjoyed all the pleasures Bahauddin sent and told the concubine, 'Tell your Spiritual Guide that these things do not affect Faqr.' Sometime later, Bahauddin and the Fakir ran into each other by the river; Bahauddin's horse urinated in the river and the Fakir objected, stating that the horse had dirtied the river. Bahauddin replied that a flowing river can never be impure. That was when the Fakir asked, 'What about the flowing river of Wehdat in my chest? Do you think it would allow your concubine, dog biryani or alcohol to affect my Faqr?'

- Shariat is like a dried up pond and Tariqat is like a flowing river. The sins of one who has the invocation of God's name in the heart are cleansed by that invocation. However, you should allow the heart to be fully enlightened rather than making it cleanse your sins.

- There was a man in Ghous Pak's era who appeared to be a dedicated worshipper, but Ghous Pak declared him to be a Zindeeq (imposter) because he used to drink alcohol in secret. But in Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)'s era, there was a man named Zaid who used to consume alcohol. When Zaid would get caught drinking, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) would first joke with him and then tell the Companions to punish him. When he was caught for the third time in this act, the Companions cursed him for constantly committing the same sin. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) told them strictly not to do that because Zaid loved Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and God. Zaid first loved Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and God and then he started to drink alcohol, due to which it was okay for him. Those who commit such sins at the beginning of their spiritual journey, however, never manage to reach the destination. They become Zindeeq.

Kya Milad e Nabi Qur’an Se Sabit Hai?

***ENABLE CC FOR ENGLISH SUBTITLES***

Does the Koran prove that celebrating the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is allowed? Younus AlGohar explains.

Summary:

- The Koran does not directly mention Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)’s birthday; however, in Koran 19:33, God mentions the moments John the Baptist and Jesus Christ were born as ‘blessed moments’. When the moments they were born are blessed, what about the moments the Leader of Prophets and Beloved of God, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was born? Is it not allowed to celebrate those moments? It absolutely is allowed.

- There have been many incidents which suggest to us that celebrating Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)'s birthday is permissible. When Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) migrated from Mecca to Medina, the girls from the Band Fajar tribe were standing there to greet him with songs of celebration. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) liked this; he did not forbid it.

- Regardless of whether or not celebrating the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is part of the religion, would you not want to celebrate it because of your personal relationship with the Prophet (PBUH)?

Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, 'You cannot become a Devout Believer until you love me more than your parents and the entire humanity.'

Wali Ya Nabi Ke Haq Mein Ghulu Karna Kesa Hai?

Younus AlGohar answers a question from a viewer who asked Younus AlGohar's opinion on when people exaggerate the ranks of saints.

Summary:

- This path begins with the Spiritual Heart and ends with the Subtlety of Ana and witnessing the divine splendour.  A law is required in order for you to be able to walk on this path without any hurdles or thieves trying to steal the treasure of your faith; therefore, it is necessary for Tariqat to be accompanied by Sharia. Sharia is the law and Tariqat is the path.

- Whether it is a Fakir, a Saint, a Prophet or a Messenger who is granted a rank by God, you can only make mention of what and how much God has granted them.

- Two men came to Abu Bakr Shibly to pledge allegiance to him. He told them to recite, ‘La Ilaha Ilallah Shibly Rasool Allah.' One of the men refused and left. Then Abu Bakr Shibly turned to the remaining man and told him to repent and recite the correct Motto of Faith. There have been a few incidents like this - whereby certain individuals with verified sainthood would mention Mottos of Faith with their names in order to get rid of the hell-bound people. However, what Abu Bakr Shibly caused confusion; it was a delicate matter that should have been handled another way. Because now the pseudo-Sufis can imitate him and make their disciples recite Mottos of Faith with their names. I personally think that Abu Bakr Shibly should not have done this.

- Everything HDE Gohar Shahi does is in accordance with Sharia. In the past, saints would get disciples to dance, build and tear down walls, play sport, etc. in order to get their heartbeats risen for invocation of God’s name. However, HDE Gohar Shahi told people the method which was part of the Customs of Prophet Mohammad: to sit in a circle and engage in the loud invocation of God’s name.

- The stage of Sukr refers to a spiritual state when you are under the divine theophanies and spiritually intoxicated. The Koran 4:43 says not to perform Salat in a state of intoxication - this refers to exoteric and esoteric intoxication. The People of the Bench were also people who would be in a state of Sukr; in Koran 18:28, God told Prophet Mohammad to spend more time with them.

Sabiqoon: Amr e Kun Se Pehlay Ki Takhleeq

In this mind-blowing speech, Younus AlGohar answers a viewer who asked what the difference was between Imam Mehdi’s sub-spirits and the sub-spirits of other spiritual personalities.

Summary:

- The Night of Ascension was a grand occasion. Prophet Mohammad led 124 000 prophets in Salat. However, where was Imam Mehdi during this event? He was not there because Imam Mehdi comes from the Unseen World; He is not from this universe. Abdul Qadir Jilani, who was to revive Islam, had not yet come into the world but he was present on the Night of Ascension. Imam Mehdi, the grand personality who Jesus Christ would pledge allegiance to - who would defeat the Antichrist, raise the divine flag and revive the religion - was nowhere to be seen.

- God created souls in two episodes. The souls created with Command Be were divided into three categories: those who chose luxuries of the world, those who chose luxuries of paradise and those who were indecisive. This was Episode Two of creation. Before creating souls with Command Be, God created three categories of souls; they are known as the Sabiqoon (Foremost Souls). The categories of the Sabiqoon were: those in God’s proximity (Qurb, those in God’s love (Mohabbat) and those in God’s manifestation (Jalwa). All the prophets, messengers and Fuqra come from the Sabiqoon. Among the Sabiqoon, none of the souls are disbelievers, hypocrites or worldly - they are all loving souls. Their creation predates the Primordial Times; they were from Episode One of creation.

- God divided the souls among the eras of the prophets. If a prophet had less spiritual knowledge, God would send more hell-bound souls in his era. Souls from among the Sabiqoon came in abundance in the era of the Prophet Mohammad. This is why the knowledge of personal love of God came with Prophet Mohammad.  In this era of Imam Mehdi, all the Sabiqoon souls have come down.

- A human soul is like smoke - it has no features. So to facilitate the human soul in connecting with God, God attached 6 angelic subtleties with the soul. They are helpers so that when your soul comes down it can see, and speak and hear. The subtleties were originally servants to the Sabiqoon. God created a system in which sub-spirits were derived from these angel-like creatures to increase people’s spiritual ranks.

- There is no concept of the body and soul in the Unseen World. Individuals in the Unseen World are complete entities. They do not need any subtleties to facilitate them. A human being has to die because the souls and the body are separate races, so they have to separate one day. But the bodies and souls of individuals from the Unseen World do not separate. This is why Younus AlGohar declares, ‘Gohar Shahi is immortal.’ Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi doesn’t have His own terrestrial spirits or celestial spirits. A reflection of HDE Gohar Shahi was placed in a body created with the terrestrial spirits of Prophet Mohammad and then the greatest celestial spirits from all the Grand Messengers were placed in that body.

- There are various entities that resemble HDE Gohar Shahi in appearance. No two pictures of HDE Gohar Shahi are the same or identical. They are images of different manifestations. If the soul and subtleties are present in a body, it is known as Jism; if the body is empty of these souls, it is Jasd. And a Jussa (sub-spirit) is something in between the soul and body. A real Jussa is something you cannot touch. However, the ‘Jussas’ of HDE Gohar Shahi are complete entities on their own and people were able to touch them.
