The Key to Spirituality (and Life)

The most important thing in spirituality is to be a steadfast seeker. You should have unshakeable self-esteem. You should know what you are doing. When you know what you are doing, then do not back off until you reach your destination.
God does not like people who back off when the conditions around them are not favourable.
God wants to test how serious you are! Your determination will be established when no hurdle on Earth can stop you from what you want to get. If there are not enough hurdles to stop you, you are really determined. Determination is the name for different emotional states. For example, it refers to when you are steadfast, when you are clung to whoever you belong.
No matter how hard it gets to survive, even if you are hanging by a cliff, rest assured that you will not fall.
In the line of spiritual love, you have to have determination. The hurdles of the way will definitely [chip away at] your determination. Every time you are weakened by those hurdles, boost your determination by the fact that you belong to the Almighty and the Almighty is watching over you. Know that you are not alone.
No matter how many times you fall, do not stop. Keep falling, but keep journeying as well. Fall down, get up again and go. Repeat.
You must keep going no matter how many times you fall. The devil wants you to fall, so that you are emotionally put off and you quit the journey.
Don’t quit the journey; if you stumble, ask for help and the Lord will help you.
This was an excerpt of Younus AlGohar’s reply to a viewer of AlRa TV, who had already obtained Invocation of the Heart. It was originally posted on Younus AlGohar's Medium page.

The Spiritual Celebration of Holidays | Your Heart Is The Passage To God

Festivity and celebration is what the religious people are left with today. If it's Prophet Mohammad's birthday, Muslims will say, 'Okay, let’s celebrate.’ If it's Christmas, Christians will say, 'Let's celebrate.’ However, thinking of getting enlightened and finding God is not something you hear from people.

This is because a lot of people in this world today are from the category of those who leapt towards the modelled luxuries of the world. But among those people who are craving the luxuries of the world, there has been a group of people who have already enjoyed the Divine Nearness. They enjoyed divine love even before their entry into this world. They are the people of love, peace and divinity.
This message of His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi is to facilitate those who seek love of God no matter what religion they come from - regardless of whether or not they believe in any religion. This mission of HDE Gohar Shahi is to help out those who are blindfoldedly following shadows in search for God.
It has been centuries since the last man journeyed on the path of God. For centuries now, people have sought asylum in the temples, mosques, churches and got themselves engaged in whatever form of worship they were given to do.

You may feel something very important is lacking in your life and you think Islam, Christianity, Judaism or Hinduism will fill the gap. If you go to a temple, church or mosque for this reason and you find solace, do not settle for it! This unreal solace may be coming from Satan.

Remember that God is not easily pleased.
If you find solace in a mosque or a temple, it may be an evil projection; that solace is to stop you from searching for God. You will not see God sitting in a mosque or temple and you will never find Jesus in the church. Make sure your journey does not stop in those worship places!
There is no highway that leads to God, but there is a small tunnel beneath your body.
Mosques, temples and churches are highways; if you are in search for God, avoid the highways. You want a Goharian channel which will put you through that tunnel. The tunnel starts from your heart. Very discreet is this spiritual journey; nobody will know that you are travelling.
It is so discreet that sometimes even you’ll [doubt] whether or not you are travelling because it is the journey of your spirits. It is not done by your body. Your body is like an outfit [for your souls], nothing else.
The devil had developed an enormous amount of animosity against all those who want to go through this tunnel. If you are not using the tunnel and want to journey on the highways, you are safe. The devil has no problem; he will say, 'Go on. You will never find your destination. You will keep circling around these worship places.'

It is the devil’s job to stop people from going to God. Whether you are lost at the cinema, nightclub or in the mosque, to him it is equal. As long as you are heedless of God or of the way that leads one to God, the devil is perfectly fine with that. In fact, he is pleased because he doesn't have to do overtime.

I recently spoke about how and why a vast majority of Muslims in Pakistan oppose HDE Gohar Shahi without reason. It is all negative [propaganda]; they do it to save their own skin. The people who purport to be religious leaders there are businessmen who are selling religions and God's name. They are making a mockery out of the religion.

The reason why we have to put up with a lot of undue and unearned opposition from some people is because we talk about the tunnel. It is because we secretly transport hearts to God. Perhaps it is called 'mysticism' because it is hidden.
From someone’s physical features, one cannot tell if somebody is really travelling towards God. It is not you, it is your heart that travels the journey.
The good thing is, with the help of Live Stream, Youtube and Facebook now the message of peace, love and truth will reach common people. In no time, the message of HDE Gohar Shahi will take the world by storm! This is divine, unstoppable magic. This is the magic of love.

One fundamental difference between man and God must be understood by [people of] all religions. As a human being, you only bear the divine image; this is what you were created upon by God. You are only the divine image and you are imperfect.
You will become a perfect human being when the divine image that you have been created upon will be filled with the divine characteristics. The divine characteristics do not come about by reading holy books.
The message of HDE Gohar Shahi is very precise, surgical and technical. HDE Gohar Shahi understands that you loving God and God loving you has nothing to do with your body - so why [involve] the bodies? This is how the message of HDE Gohar Shahi is clinical. He is not going to waste his time or your time.
HDE Gohar Shahi said, 'It is not about the purification of your body. There is nothing wrong with your body. What you need to purify is your heart. Even if you stand under a stream of water for any length of time, the water will never reach your heart. You cannot purify the heart with water.'
In order to purify your heart, you need your heart to invoke upon God with the name of his person. You cannot see God because your eyes are physical and God's existence is ethereal. This is what the Quran said. However you will see him with the eye that God has given to every single human being so that they can see him. That eye is behind your physical eyes; it is your third eye (Latifa-e-Ana).

Most Muslims believe that Prophet Mohammad is the greatest of all prophets, but it is a pity that they do not know how [he is so great]. For example, if a cricket team has the best coach in the world yet they lose every match, [they shouldn’t] be proud of their coach. The way Muslims are being humiliated all over the world gives a message.

[I have a question for Muslims]: although your prophet is one of the greatest prophets, what did you get from him? Do you know why was he one of the greatest ones? He is one of the greatest because no other prophet before him was able to see God; he was the only one. Through the spiritual mediumship of Prophet Mohammad, whoever was able to see God is great. How many Muslims can say today that they have seen God? If you tell a Muslim that you have seen God, the most probable reaction will be frowning, inflation of the nostrils and [an exclamation of], 'Nobody can see God, why are you saying this?'

HDE Gohar Shahi has come to offer any deserving or undeserving human soul to come and learn the knowledge which will enable them to see God, [no matter what religion] they come from. They may be a Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Jew, etc. This is the divine bounty from HDE Gohar Shahi to see God. The divine mechanism and spiritual methodology is non-religious. It is purely spiritual.
You don't have to adopt a religion in order to see God today. This is an unprecedented, pioneering offer and an immaculate message.
It is unbelievably true. The reason why people don't find it to be true is because it has never happened before in history. We are celebrating all prophet's days and we are celebrating all religious festivals and this is to give everybody a message that we respect everybody. We want everybody to become part of this divine circle.

Waqaya Karbala Mein Mohabbat Ki Zakat

A viewer asked, 'What reward will Imam Hussain get for sacrificing himself during the incident of Karbala?' Younus AlGohar answered and explained that the way the question is worded is incorrect.

Main points:

- God loved the grandsons of Prophet Mohammad, Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain. When Imam Hussain became a martyr he did so under God's will.

- The incident of Karbala was not a test for Imam Hussain; it was a test for Prophet Mohammad, who loved him so intensely that even God took notice. This incident was Zakat of the love God granted to Prophet Mohammad.

- We cannot comment on the spiritual status of Imam Hussain, who grew up in the care of Prophet Mohammad. He was a very determined man. His martyrdom was not a sacrifice, because sacrifice is taken from those who are being tested by God. He was already in nearness and love of Prophet Mohammad, therefore he did not have to struggle in regards to faith.

- Younus AlGohar met Imam Hussain and Prophet Mohammad. Imam Hussain explained that while he was in Karbala, Prophet Mohammad came and removed the Nisbat-e-Adam from his heart, due to which he no longer had emotions for his wife and children. Then he said that what was left was an overwhelming need to somehow please Prophet Mohammad. Imam Hussain is extremely handsome due to the fact that Prophet Mohammad looked at him with love for so many years.

Lataif Aur Un Ke Maqasid

Younus AlGohar answers a viewer's question about the spiritual subtleties in the human body.

Main points:

- There are seven spiritual subtleties in the human body. Five are located in the breast and there is also one in the head - all these spirits are related to the higher realms. The soul in the head, Ana, has the potential to witness the divine splendour.

- You cannot see God with your physical eyes, but the Ana can see God. The Ana is revived with the Dhikr of 'Ya Hu'. There are three veils upon the Ana. The final veil ruptures only when, with the help of the spiritual guide, the Ana makes a combined spiritual journey with the soul to see God.

- When the Ana is face-to-face with God, another veil is put upon it: the Rabbani Veil. This happens when the image of God comes upon the Ana; in that moment the seeker doesn't recognise anyone else besides God. He doesn't even recognise himself. People who got stuck at this stage were the ones who said, 'Ana al Haq (I am God).'

- When the Ana sees God, the image of him dominates the Ana. From there, God’s image enters the eyes. From the eyes it comes upon the spiritual heart (Qalb). This is a lengthy procedure. Until this procedure is complete, the seeker remains under the influence of Rabbani Veil. When the image of God is settled in the spiritual heart, then the seeker is no longer under the effects of the Rabbani Veil.

- There is another subtlety located at the naval point: the Nafs (Carnal Self). It is a satanic Jinn. To purify the Nafs, saints had to go through austerity and struggle.
To learn more about the different spiritual subtleties and their functions, read The Religion of God (Divine Love) by HDE Gohar Shahi.

Happy Holidays! A Special Message from MFI

The festive season is once again upon us! It is that time of the year when the streets and homes are lit up. During this time, Christmas and Hanukkah are celebrated by Christians and Jews respectively. This year, 12 Rabi ul Awwal will also be celebrated by Muslims during the holidays.

It is unfortunate that the holidays have become a highly commercialised affair. The spiritual significance of these occasions has been practically forgotten in the modern era. They have become events where the main attractions are the delicious food and the exchange of gifts.

Hanukkah celebrates the triumphant restoration of the Second Temple as a Jewish sacred worship place. Christmas is a celebration of the advent of Lord Jesus Christ in this world. 12 Rabi ul Awwal marks the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad.

You partake in festivities, but the true inner happiness of these events will manifest in you once you are spiritually connected with the Lord.

So this year, think about your relationship with the Lord. Using the method offered by Mehdi/Messiah Foundation International, you can light up your heart with divine energy, just as you light up your homes during the holiday season!

Make every day a celebration with the Goharian Philosophy of Divine Love.

Asal Hafiz-e-Quran Kon?

Younus AlGohar speaks to a viewer, who claimed to be a Hafiz-e-Quran (one who knows the Quran by heart). He explains what is required for one to be a true Hafiz-e-Quran.

Main points:

- A true Hafiz is one who has the Quran in his heart. Hafiz means, ‘One who safeguards.’ A Hafiz is not one who just memorises the Quran.

- Quran says, ‘Do not follow those whose hearts I have kept heedless of my Dhikr (Remembrance).’ People who claim to be Hafiz-e-Quran can be found amongst Shias, Wahhabis and Barelvis. A true Hafiz has Noor (Divine Energy) in his heart. If such people from amongst Wahhabis are actually Hafiz-e-Quran, why do they blaspheme the Prophet Mohammad?

- A true Hafiz is one on whose heart is written Ism-e-Dhaat Allah (The Personal Name of God). This is the beginning. A complete Hafiz is one whose heart falls under the divine theophanies. When this happens, then they will see the Quran in their heart.

- Ism-e-Dhaat Allah is Dhaati Noor (Divine Energy of God’s Person), whereas the Quran is Sifati Noor (Divine Energy of God’s Attributes). It is from Ism-e-Dhaat that chapters of the
Quran came.

- The Quran was revealed onto Prophet Mohammad’s heart. When it is in your heart, that is when you will be called a Hafiz-e-Quran. If Quran is in your heart, then why do you forget verses? People who claim to be Hafiz often revise the Quran to refresh their memory. If the Quran is safe in your heart, you won’t need to revise it.

Kiya Insanon Ki Aksariyat Jahanum Ke Liye?

Younus AlGohar answers a question asked by a viewer, who wanted to know why so many people seem to live meaningless lives.

Main points:

- It is written in the Quran that God made a majority of human beings and Jinns for hellfire. Therefore when the majority of people come in this world, they do things that will take them closer to their destiny.

- For the people God made for hell, he said that they have hearts but they do not understand and that they have eyes but they cannot see. He said they have ears but they cannot hear. God said they are those who are more misguided than animals. They are the Ghafileen (Heedless Ones). This is in reference to the fact that their spiritual heart and other subtleties are not enlightened or awakened. They are those in whose spiritual subtleties Noor (divine energy) does not enter.

- If the world declares someone to be a Momin (true believer), but God didn't make him a Momin, then that person cannot be a Momin. It has already been decided by God who is a Momin and who is hell-bound. This doesn't change.

- It is not possible that God made someone for a purpose, and they die without fulfilling that purpose. That purpose may not be something you consider to be valid, but God has a long list of purposes he can designate human beings for.

Kiya Aaj Ka Musalman Momin Nahen?

Younus AlGohar answers a question from a viewer, who was wondering how one can ensure their Salat (a form of prayer in Islam) is accepted by God.

Main points:

- The most important thing to ensure your Salat is accepted by God is the presence and enlightenment of the spiritual heart. No matter what style you read Salat in, if your heart is not present in it, then God won’t accept it.  The problem with Muslims today is that neither their eyes nor their hearts are purified.

- There was a time when Muslims were the most powerful in the world. Quran said, ‘You will be dominant in the world as long as you are Momin (a true believer).’ Muslims today rely on their scholars to tell them what the Quran means, but they should take personal responsibility. They should read the Quran for themselves, and understand it without depending on Islamic scholars. Look at what the Quran says and look at the state of Muslims today. The condition for Muslims to be dominant in the world is that they be Momin. Today they’re in the current state because they are no longer Momin.

- In Prophet Mohammad’s era, he defeated 1000 enemies with a force of 313 people; they were able to do this because they were Momin. In this era, there is no brotherhood amongst Muslim countries. The Muslim of today has nothing to do with Islam and God. It is just like how a husband and wife are once they are divorced. They left God and God left them.

- The foremost thing to do as a Muslim is to become a Momin. Momin is one in whose heart the Kalima (Declaration of Faith) can be heard. To become a Momin, God’s name enters your spiritual heart. Your heart becomes engaged in remembrance of God. Noor (divine energy) is produced from this practice and then that Noor spreads throughout your body; it makes your body obedient to it. Then you will become obedient to God and become a Momin. If you are not a Momin, you have Satan in you.

Poetry for Jashan-e-Riaz (Lord Ra Riaz Day)

On the 25th of November, admirers of Younus AlGohar's spiritual guide, Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi, celebrated Jashan-e-Riaz (Lord Ra Riaz Day), which marks the day the world was first blessed with Lord Ra Riaz's presence.

In honour of this auspicious occasion, the following poem was written by a member of Mehdi Foundation International.

Jashan-e-Riaz: The Day of Riaz
It is the most auspicious day of the year
A day we celebrate and revere

When the Lord revealed His comely face
And made this world a magical place

He came in the guise of the Awaited One
Recognise His image on the Moon and Sun!

He granted us His glorious name
Making all hearts love the same

Ra Riaz - the most powerful name of all
For every human, big or small

The religion of love was introduced
Divine light was in the hearts produced

The Day of Riaz, always remember
Comes on the 25th of November

Jashan-e-Riaz is a time to reflect
It is our heart we must not neglect

Though the decorations are a pretty sight
They're of no use if your heart is not bright

Light up your heart with the name of the Lord
And make your heart the Lord's abode

Your heart will then shine brighter than a star
A star the Lord can see from afar

Then every day will be a celebration
As you become a member of the Lord's nation!

Asia Today – Primary Objective of Religion: to Connect with God

In Asia Today’s November issue, an article by Younus AlGohar, ‘Primary Objective of Religion: to Connect with God,’ was published.

In this piece, he explains the main reason one practises a religion and why pure spirituality is what we need today.

The Asia Today is a monthly publication which caters to the South Asian community. It is based in Arizona, USA. Read its November edition here.
