What are the prerequisites of becoming a true Muslim? How does one practically adopt Islam? Find out in Younus AlGohar’s comprehensive lecture.

- The era we are living in is such that the rulers of a country and the dervish in the era are both corrupt. Each sect of Islam has adopted different aspects of the religion. Nobody is on the path of guidance simply because no one knows how to obtain guidance.
- It is said that one who revives a custom will be granted the reward of 100 martyrs, then it means that particular custom is no longer in practice. If even one or two people out of an entire population are practising a particular custom it cannot be considered as an expired custom. An expired custom would be one which is not being practised by anyone in the entire universe.
- Prophet Mohammad said, ‘My eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep.’ The heart constantly engages in the remembrance of God. This was about the custom of Dhikr-e-Qalb. The custom of God’s name constantly echoing in the heart. But the Opening of the Spiritual Heart became scarce, to the point of extinction. His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi revived this custom! - Today the nation of Islam is suffering from the disease of a corrupted heart. The revival of Islam is dependant upon the revival of the Spiritual Heart. When the Spiritual Hearts become revived then the religion will be revived. The revival of the Spiritual Heart is the revival of the religion. If your heart is awakened then your religion will be reawakened.
- There is a Prophetic Tradition from Bukhari Sharif: O’ Son of Adam there is a piece of flesh in your body and when it is reformed the entire body is reformed and when it is corrupted your entire body is corrupted. Remember well: it is your heart.
