- A human being is a compound creature; he has a body made of clay and invisible souls enclosed within it.
- Noor has been used as a metaphor for light, but it is not light in itself. Just as electricity cannot be seen, Noor is divine energy which cannot be seen.
- When God's name is invoked in the heart, it generates Noor which revives the souls in the body. Then, Noor runs through the human body but it is stored in the Spiritual Heart and souls. When this happens, that person is known as a Sahib-e-Noor.
- When a person dies, the Noor and the souls ascend to the higher realms, leaving the body empty. Noor does not die.

Younus AlGohar’s reply to a viewer who said that he had trouble accepting His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi as Imam Mehdi in light of the Prophetic Traditions recognised by the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat.
Summary:
- The Muslims are divided into over 73 sects. Every sect in Islam has its own compilation of Prophetic Traditions which it considers authentic. How will we recognise Imam Mehdi in light of the Prophetic Traditions of a particular sect? If we say someone is Imam Mehdi according to the Shiite’s Prophetic Traditions, then the followers of Ahle Sunnah Was Jamaat will never accept it - and vice versa.
- Won’t Imam Mehdi be easily recognised as Imam Mehdi because of His personality, character, purity, gnosis of God and proximity to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)? If we limit our understanding of Imam Mehdi to the signs we find in the Prophetic Traditions, it suggests that we think Imam Mehdi will be an average personality.
‘Beware the sight of the Devout Believer, for he looks through divine energy.’ - Prophetic Tradition.
- If we were to look through divine energy, we would be able to recognise Imam Mehdi easily. Then we wouldn't need to worry about which sect’s compilation of Prophetic Traditions is correct. The most important thing is to become a Devout Believer.
‘[They] invoke upon God while they stand, sit and toss and turn [in their beds].’ - Koran 3:191
- A Devout Believer is one who invokes upon God in all three states: standing, sitting and while sleeping. God here used the word ‘tossing and turning’ instead of sleeping for a reason. When you sleep, your body is so sensitive that it changes positions as needed without your having to be conscious. Just as your body tosses and turns without your knowledge, similarly, there is something inside you that can invoke upon God without you needing to be conscious of it: the heart.
‘Do not follow the one whose hearts I have kept heedless of my invocation.’ - Koran 18:28
‘Whoever God guides, he will guide his heart.’ - Koran 64:11
‘Declare the truth by the tongue and verify it in the heart.’ - Prophetic Tradition

- His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi is the personality who revives your heart and implants the seed of God’s name in it which begins to generate divine energy. This is also how your heart starts to encourage you to do good; by way of purifying your Lower Self, HDE Gohar Shahi’s teachings also stop you from doing wrong as per Koran 22:41. You will only see with divine energy when it is generated in your heart.

- The sin is recorded in the Book of Deeds so that the saints and prophets can check it. They place the black spot on the heart because God looks at the heart. With an abundance of sins, the heart becomes completely black. At this stage, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said that advice is ineffective on such a person.
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, ‘There is a polish for everything that tarnishes. The polish of the heart is the invocation of God’s name.’
- The invocation of God’s name has to enter the heart. Nobody has the knowledge of the heart except Imam Mehdi. This is the knowledge through which you will bring divine energy in your heart and you will recognise yourself, God and Imam Mehdi. All verbal declarations of faith are futile until the heart confirms them.
‘The Arabs say, “We are Devout Believers.” Tell them, “You are not Devout Believers. Rather, say that you have accepted Islam and become Muslims. Faith has not yet entered your hearts.”’ - Koran 49:16
‘The greatest invocation is the Motto of Faith.’ - Prophetic Tradition

How can one become the type of religious scholar that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) declared to be like the Prophets of Israel?

‘The scholars are connected to my chest.’ - Prophetic Tradition
‘Beware the ignorant scholar.’ The Companions asked the Prophet (PBUH), ‘How can one be a scholar and ignorant at the same time?’ The Prophet (PBUH) replied, ‘One whose tongue is a scholar but whose heart is ignorant, meaning dark.’ - Prophetic Tradition
- These Prophetic Traditions prove that there are two types of knowledge: inner knowledge and outer knowledge. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said that the outer knowledge is an argument from God (Ilm-e-Hujjat), whereas the inner knowledge is the ‘Ilm-e-Nafay (Beneficial Knowledge)’. The religious clerics think that the outer knowledge is the Ilm-e-Nafay because they earn money off it. However, how could something be recognised as beneficial by the religion when it is confirmed that your physical wealth shall not benefit you in the hereafter?
‘On [the Day of Judgement], neither your sons nor your wealth shall benefit you. He shall be successful who brings with him a Secured Heart (Qalb-e-Saleem).’ - Koran 26:88
- Ilm-e-Nafay is the inner knowledge in which you bring God’s name into the beating system of the heart. When your heart invokes upon God, it generates divine energy which protects your heart from vices like arrogance, enmity and jealousy. It secures your heart from such evil attacks.
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, ‘When somebody commits a sin, the angels record it in his Book of Deeds. At the same time, they place a black spot on his heart.’

- The reason it is recorded in the Book of Deeds is so that the saints or Spiritual Guide can check it. They place the black spot on the heart because God looks at the heart. A time comes when the heart is completely blackened from the abundance of sinning and God becomes fed up with you. At this point, no advice will have any effect on you.
- Today, the majority of religious clerics have blackened hearts and they do not know how to cleanse their hearts. Were they to have the inner knowledge, they would purify their own hearts and teach their students to do the same.
- A true divine scholar is one who verbalises the knowledge and who also has an enlightened heart. To become such a scholar, you have to purify your Lower Self and enlighten your heart. Even to become a true follower of Islam, you have to do everything that is required of a divine scholar. A true divine scholar has both inner knowledge and outer knowledge.
‘The man who obtained the Shahr-e-Sadr (Opening of the Chest) with the Name of God for Islam shall receive divine energy from his Lord.’ - Koran 39:22
- If you don’t manage to enlighten and revive the 5 subtleties in your chest, then you will not receive the divine energy from God and you will not enter Islam. A hypocrite’s heart does not accept the truth; if you worship and verbally recite the Motto of Faith but your heart does not verify what you verbalised and did, then you will remain to be a hypocrite.

Younus AlGohar discusses the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in light of the Koran and Prophetic Traditions.
Summary:
- According to the Koran, Jesus Christ was ascended physically to the higher realms by God. He will have to descend on Earth because his body was meant for Earth. Death only occurs in the Terrestrial Realm; if something leaves the Terrestrial Realm and ascends to the higher realms, it cannot die.
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, ‘I am the City of Knowledge.’
- The Koran is one aspect of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) because it was revealed onto his heart. He understands it best. Therefore, you should consult Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) because the Koran is not separate from Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). There are many things which were not discussed in the Koran, but which Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) addressed - such as Jesus Christ’s return. The ultimate source of knowledge is Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), not the Koran.
Koran 53:3-4 says, ‘Not a single word passes from his lips out of his own desires. Rather he [only] utters the divine revelation.'
- So this verse means, 'O' Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), when do you ever move your lips except for when the divine revelation is revealed?' According to this Koranic verse, even if Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) asks for water, you must consider it to be the Koran. One type of divine revelation comes from the higher realms, however, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)) also had God’s presence within him which spoke through him. That presence of God could have said, 'Bring me water.'
Koran 59:7 says, 'O' Devout Believers, take whatever Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) gives you. And quit whatever he forbids you to do.'
- So Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said that Jesus Christ will return; you have to accept it otherwise you are not a Muslim.
- Jesus Christ was already a prophet before the advent of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in the world. His return does not affect the Finality of Prophethood because that only applies to new prophets. No new prophets or messengers shall come after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said to his nation, 'How eminent must you be [as a nation] when I, Mohammad, am here at your commencement and Jesus Christ and Imam Mehdi are at your culmination.'
