The teachings of His Divine
Eminence Gohar Shahi begin with Ishq (Rapturous Love). Thousands of people came
to meet His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi and HDE may have said something about
them however it is not necessary for us to know what HDE has said about somebody
else. If HDE Gohar Shahi has said that so-and-so
is a great man, that is good for him but for me it is important to know what
HDE has said about me and what I should do. It is important for me to know the
statements given by HDE regarding the teachings, eminence and ranks of the Lord.
If somebody says HDE has said
this person is a Momin, who will verify that HDE has indeed said so? The person
himself would be the verification. Whether you are a believer, a hypocrite, a
lover or a Saint, the verification is within you, within your character. Those
who are dependent on others for verification are blind. You can say anything
with your tongue; you can make any claim, ‘I am this. I am that. I am the best
of all.’ But when you will open your mouth and speak all the ugliness of your
character will come out.
Those who attribute wrong
statements to HDE Gohar Shahi that HDE has said great things about certain
individuals, they should know that it is not just about preaching. It’s a practise.
You say the Lord said great things about a person but why is that person not
propagating the teachings of HDE Gohar Shahi? Why does he/she not believe in
the eminence and ranks of HDE Imam Mehdi/Messiah/Kalki Avatar Ra Gohar Shahi? It
is very easy to open your mouth and preach but to become good, purify your Nafs
(Self) and become holy is altogether a different story.
Beware of all those who attribute
wrong sayings to the Lord. Only judge somebody in the light of the teachings of
HDE Gohar Shahi, if HDE Gohar Shahi has said something about a person, that
person’s character shall prove it. Whatever is in your Batin (Inner) shall one
day manifest in your Zahir (Outer) also and one does not need Spiritual Insight
(Kashf) to know this.
HDE Gohar Shahi said that the
world shall recognise Imam Mehdi when the different aspects of His Personality
are revealed onto them. The fragrance of His sublime character shall spread and
the world will automatically know who He is.
HDE Gohar Shahi said:
The musk will reveal its presence by itself and the seller of that musk doesn’t have to say anything.
According to the same law, can we
not recognise a common man through his character?

person is a Momin, look in the Deen-e-Ilahi (The Religion of God) authored by
HDE Gohar Shahi. This Holy Book is a mirror and one can see his true face in
the light of these teachings. Make HDE Gohar Shahi’s teachings the mirror of your
personality and faith. Use these teachings as the ultimate guide to judge and
verify whatever it is you need to know.
